Lovely hotel in quiet neighborhood of Cambridge. The staff were wonderful and so very helpful. The $10/day credit at the Paperback is a nice perk, and the Cambridge shuttle was great for getting to/from Harvard. My room was huge, and the bed was super comfy. Will definitely return when I'm next in the area.

Give the stay an OK - bell hop and valet services were under staffed - the cafe underwhelming - the main restaurant menu not up to any standard I'd expect for a Hyatt Regency - a terrible sauce for their meatball and pasta dish.

The location of the hotel was great and amenities as well. We had originally booked a room with a balcony and view of the river. When we arrived we were told that we had booked a double bed room and that we were being upgraded to a king room with a balcony and even better view. Great!! We did need to wait for the room to be cleaned and that should be should be done shortly (now 12:30ish). We checked back in a few times and finally when it was about 30minutes before the Red Sox game we asked and they said it had been read and you should have been notified which we weren’t. My wife ran up real quick to shower and get ready and when I arrived we no longer had a balcony room. Once I went back downstairs to inform them I was shuffled around a bit, made to wait in a long line again and told I should be happy with the upgrade and that a balcony room couldn’t be made available for a while (now 3:30pm) even though that is what I booked. They wanted us to bring all our luggage plus perishable food we had just bought and stick it in a storage closet to hope a room would be made available when we got back from the game. We decided to just stick with the downgraded room we received. Very nice hotel, but the due the very poor customer service we will not come back here.
