The room was clean and the breakfast was good, but I wished there were more options other than carbs. More fruit options and protein maybe some vegetables. Overall it was good and I loved the fact they offered free tea, coffee and hot chocolate 24/7. The only downside of the trip was how loud the police cars and ambulances were every night. It was really annoying. Also, I rebooked a king bed with a pullout sofa but when I went to check in they said it only booked me for a king bed and I was forced to pay $25 for a rollaway bed because we were 3 people. The lady at the front desk didn’t really care that we were going to be 3 people sleeping in a room that only has one bed she told me to call Expedia and complain to them because it’s not her problem.

Fall decor in the breakfast area was appreciated. The cookies and lemon water in the lobby were fantastic. The location of the hotel was good. The shelf where the in room fridge was kept was gross looking. The door to the shelf where the fridge was kept was falling off. The room temperature was on point. No problems with the thermostat.

The hotel itself is quite nice. There were beautiful glass windows overlooking the busy street, and the front entrance and elevators felt secure. The neighboring area is less than safe, however, with busy vehicle traffic and quite a bit of suspicious activity in the area. I walked over a needle on my way to pick up dinner, so I would be quite cautious of this. Also, in the description, it appeared as though parking was free. This is not the case - the hotel registered my vehicle for a flat rate per day, but it was not free. I appreciated the kind and knowledgeable staff and the cleanliness of the facility.

Ear plugs on bedside table! Why? Bc there is a major police precinct, hospital emergency room and helicopter lading pad right outside the bedroom window. Hotel was ok, but guests need to be informed up front! I got 4hrs sleep. Not good.

While the service was fine, we were in a questionable part of Boston with homeless / compromised individuals congregating outside our window. We were on the 6th floor, so it was okay, but we were quite nervous walking around the area right outside of the hotel. We were told by one of our Uber drivers that this is one of the most dangerous areas of Boston. In addition, this hotel is next door to a medical center, so ambulance sirens woke me up several times during the night. I thought we might be in trouble, when the hotel provided us with earplugs.
