When we arrived there were union protesters chanting in front of the entryway and harassing customers, like me and my colleagues. When we asked the hotel staff was the ruckus was all about, they told us the protesters were there on their behalf. When I asked how driving customers away would help them with job security, they looked at me with blank stares. This place was messed up!

This hotel's heating/cooling system was broken for the entire of my 2 night stay. Room temperature was 59F. Called engineering said their system is broken and will get portable heat, never came back with the heater. Called guest service back multiple times with nobody answering.

The parking is bad , it's scary to go there at night. And the condition is bad

Located in the center of the City, this is a well managed convenient hotel that is always well maintained and spotlessly cared for. The rooms are well appointed. Hotel shuttles are available for travel to and from the airport. The do-it-yourself parking is convenient and relatively inexpensive compared to other cities.

Hotel is in excellent shape and it was nice that they had a parking lot. Had trouble getting room to correct temp and the hotel staff did not make my wake up call.

I did not stay in my room except to sleep. I'm a member of the Board of Directors of a non-profit organization that was meeting at the hotel as well as having a small conference. The conference went quite well. Facilities worked. However, the rooms downstairs are frequently not very warm. At another conference held in the summer rooms are just too cold. We've learned to bring warm sweaters and jackets because it is so cold.

For a Hilton, this was not worth the money. The parking garage was so small and barely fit our truck. We had maybe 5 to spare. We also scraped our tires getting into the garage because the entrance was so small. We didn't have creamer in the room, so my husband went down to get some, and they wanted to charge him $20! No free breakfast, which most hotels have. Their breakfast buffet was $25.99! My husband had to fix the toilet bowl in the room, and the AC/heat did not work. It was stuck on one temperature that was hot, so we were sweating. Not a good experience at all!

I booked and paid for this trip online. The room was comfortable and clean, but had a billing problem. I paid the balance due upon checkout. After returning home, I confirmed that I had paid the amount due online when I booked the room, and was charged again upon checkout. I called the hotel and was told they would have the manager call me. No call or email from the manager ever came. I went to the Hilton website and thoroughly explained the scenario in a customer service request. After several days, they responded with a request for information asking for data that I had already given them. Now they are unable to recognize the money as being received from the website, so I have sent them the receipt. I am a couple of weeks into trying to get this resolved with the hotel. I do not understand what the issue is to fix this. Somewhere somebody reconciles the amounts received and should have recognized the problem without me having to take any action. Now after a call and emails, they still have not fixed this. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I ate breakfast in the restaurant. The food was delicious and the omelet chef was a good guy. As I was finishing my meal, the waitress finally made it to my table to ask me if I would like coffee or whatever. I said no, I was ready to go. I did not tip the waitress because she never did anything for me. That is kind of awkward, because it is never clear why you should tip if it is a self serve buffet. If the tip was to be split by the omelet guy and the people maintaining the buffet I would have gladly tipped. I was actually happy with the breakfast, just did not think the waitress added any value. The hotel removed the charge from the bill, which was a nice gesture. Now I just want them to refund my $300+ for the double billing....

Stayed there for the bar exam and they were very accommodating to the exam takers. Very close to the place where the exam takes place.

Hotel is one of the best hotels in Albany. Conveniently located to all the state buildings. Very professional staff.

I stayed here for the July 2014 Bar Exam. The room suited my needs just fine, and the room service was delicious.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Hilton while at Trial in Albany Supreme Court. It had a very convenient lounge/conference area near my room where I was able to work easily and conveniently. They have coffee ready early in the morning, which was great! Booking there again soon.

What a great place to stay! I was a little worried because we had read mixed reviews, but the hotel has been updated. We love the location and our room seemed like brand-new. Parking was $10 a night for hotel guest, better than anything else downtown. The staff was kind and courteous, the hotel was easy to get to, and the view of downtown Albany was awesome! We love to sight see and that was right out the front door. We got a great deal on the room and will come back to the Hilton every time we are in town. *Nice pool....

This is the best location to stay for a show at the Times Union Center. Only a 2 block walk on safe streets. The food and bar service were great. The room was clean and relatively new. Overall, a great place to stay!

nice hotel with a bad atmosphere

freezing hotel

Located in the center of the City, this is a well managed convenient hotel that is always well maintained and spotlessly cared for. The rooms are well appointed. For a Hilton, this was not worth the money. The parking garage was so small and barely fit our truck. We had maybe 5 to spare. billed twice...still trying to fix.
