Beautiful hotel and property. The hotel has done a very good job of keeping the property safe and secure in downtown Spokane that can be quite scratchy. Can hear the train behind the hotel pass about every 30 minutes in your room all night. Was disappointed that there was old room service outside our door when we checked in. Makes it feel like you are going into a dirty room. Staff was amazing. Very helpful and polite.

Our musical adventure landed us in Spokane, with the magnificent Historic Davenport as our haven. My middle schooler and I were greeted by impeccable service, warmth radiating from every staff interaction. The hotel itself was a symphony of preserved grandeur, each corner boasting meticulous care and timeless elegance. Our room, a sanctuary of immaculate surfaces, unfolded with surprising spaciousness. The air resonated with the hotel's heritage, every detail oozing class – intricate moldings, antique furnishings. It was like stepping into a forgotten chapter, a storybook brought to life. A personal highlight was the second floor, where captivating framed photographs whispered tales of a bygone era. Then came the Grand Pennington Ballroom – a jaw-dropping masterpiece. Ornate ceilings, glittering chandeliers, and intricate tilework transported me to a Jaipur palace, leaving me awestruck and inspired. We embraced both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The food was a culinary concerto, each dish expertly composed and bursting with flavor. The ambiance, woven with history, undeniably added to the experience. However, the coffee bar struck a minor discordant note, offering only two types of pastries and suffering from sluggish service. This brief pause in the harmony wouldn't deter me, though. The Historic Davenport's spellbinding atmosphere, impeccable service, and luxurious amenities far outweighed any minor imperfections. We left with hearts brimming with wonder, memories
