Seattle Marriott Waterfront

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Excellent spot near the Space Needle, Pike Place Market and the Pier. Many restaurants within walking distance. Hotel services & staff were great! The cost of valet parking is high and adds to the overall cost of staying here.

Beautiful hotel lobby. Mediocre beds. $60 per night to vallet and no free wifi!? Super loud party in the room next door had to call the front desk to ask them to be quiet at 1am. Overall not very impressed for the price.

While we were treated fairly, many guests were complaining about the availability of their rooms. Ours was not available on arrival, but our schedule permitted that concession. Other guests checking in at the same time were not so accommodating. On our first day, we spent the whole day away form our room, but found it had not been made up when we came back at 5. The staff were generally nice, but there never seemed enough to get the check-in/check-out desk work done efficiently.

Very interesting view across the water. Watched the ferries slowly moving along Puget Sound. Close to downtown and Public Market and also not far from the Space Needle.

Great Hotel, it right at the Heart of everything you want to do in Seattle. Great food I the hotel. One of my Favorite spots now

The hotel looks nothing like the picture you see. It is not even the same building. Think 1960's architecture. Train track in front and behind hotel with active track behind. The extra money we spent for a view of the bay was a room that was set back and was a room of a roof and a distant view of the water. No view of the harbor and ferries wheel, etc. The rooms were average and small. Bed was too soft, woke up with back aches. One day our room was not cleaned by the cleaning staff. The bar is extremely expensive. No accommodations by hotel to get to and from the airport.

Good service, decent room and onsite services. Needs sprucing up because it feels a bit dull and dreary in the bar, lounge, and even in the rooms.

Very reasonable rate. Great amenities. Very warm, friendly staff.

This is centrally located on the Seattle waterfront. It is close to the Space Needle; museum & aquarium with a realy big ferris wheel close by. What I enjoyed most were the near-by fresh fish eateries. However, I discovered that the valet parking was NOT $49.00 a day as taxes & fees were tacked on!!! Broght that service closer to $62.00 a day.

Waited at front desk several times in my 3 night stay for over 30 minutes to be helped. Had to go to front desk because my phone After 3 failed attempts at room service my phone was finally fixed at 10:30 at night!!!! On my second night there.

Great location, lobby and restaurant. I really like it .The rooms are pretty standard

Lowest cost availability meant we didn't get room requested. Reading lights didn't work.not worth the cost.

We had a wonderful view of Elliott Bay. Real close to Pikes Market.

The service at this hotel is excellent and the staff are wonderful. They call you by name and address every need in a timely manner. The bed in the room felt like it was old and hadn't been replaced in a while though. It made for a rough sleep. The cleaning staff also missed cleaning an old bar of soap out of the bathtub in the bathroom. These two things were odd for a four star hotel.

The staff was great, the rates were very reasonable and the location was perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel for a Seattle getaway!

No complaints. I won't bother with a rental car next time since you can walk to everything or take a bus next time.

The staff was amazingly nice, helpful, and courteous. I called to order room service for dinner, they didn't have what I really wanted and wasn't able to make it so a very nice lady at the from desk told me about a restaurant that would deliver to our room for free. It was by far the best dinner we've had out in a very long time. In the morning when we checked out the same lady was there and remembered me by name and everything, and that goes a long way with me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Best hotel experience ever and we've stayed at the Hilton, and they got nothing on the Marriott!

This hotel is suppose to be on the waterfront! It is not and most of the views are obstructed. I was extremely disappointed as it was our 43rd Anniversary and this hotel proved to be very expensive and very ordinary. Do not recommended it if you are looking for a romantic getaway in Seattle. Business/Conference hotel is more like it!

They tried to stick us in a smokers room and thought we would be ok with that! Everything was extra $$, even the bottled water! The stay was nice but we were afraid to "touch" anything for fear of getting charged. This was a multi-city trip and our last (less costly)hotel offered free breakfast, free wireless internet and free bottled water. Plus it had a mini fridge, microwave and self (paid) parking.

I able to book for a excellent rate, the location was awesome! cant wait to go back!
