The hotel added an extra $47 to the rate upon arrival. I made an arrangement ok’d by the hotel to change my reservation even through I booked a non-refundable rate. I appreciated the gesture as it was due to my father getting taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Then, the manager found out and disallowed the change in reservation without an additional charge. The charge was even higher at check in. It is unfortunate that extra profit comes in play when a family is having a medical emergency.

We love the Ruby - a great facility and the rates are competitive. I had only one complaint and that was that the mattress was so soft! Absolutely no support. Great pillows, though.

Property is centrally located in Spokane, and close to a everything the city has to offer. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was decent size, and clean. Many of the rooms, though, are quite far from the front office because of the way the property sits along the river. The coffee in the room is some of the worst coffee i have ever experienced.

Clean, comfortable hotel right on the river. Nice restaurant and i was surprised they had the pool open this early in the year.

We were charged twice. We paid for a premium room with a view of the river, and instead got a room with a view to a building. Hallways were littered with trash and ice machine was broken.
