Excellent update, very modern, and you just can't beat the location! The grab and go food option. Was great! The coffee shop in the hotel was good, and so convenient! Friendly helpful staff. We will stay again Side note: housekeeping comes at 8am, and they don't come back later. Also you have to ...
We booked this hotel solely for the water slide. We were very disappointed to check in only to find our the slide that is so advertised is only open a couple hours a couple times a week. Everything else was just okay.
My room at the Davenport was decorated as if I was in a earlier era but the comforts are up to date. The beds are probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The lobby and ballrooms are free to walk through, an added attraction that can easily take up to an hour of your time. We walked through ...
The front desk attendant was very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, very close to the Greyhound bus and Amtrak train stations but I would not suggest walking after dark, the area did feel real safe, lots of odd characters lingering about. The room was okay but needed ...
Great location overlooking the river. River walk close. Only thing. Soap needed at the sink as well as in bath. Nice to have the complementary drinks available. After a long day of travel by airlines it was nice to have a drink of wine to chill out on!! Thanks
Located in beautiful Washington State, Spokane is the perfect stop to enjoy dreamy landscapes as well as big-city living. Did you know that the name Spokane derives from a Native American word meaning “Children of the Sun”? This is the perfect name for a city that comes alive over the beautiful, hot summer months. It is little wonder that it is known for its beautiful parks and glorious outdoor scene, sprinkled with waterfalls in abundance. Golfing, hiking, and fishing are all popular activities for tourists.
A cultural hub for the entire state, Spokane is not only home to glorious Pacific Midwest nature, but it is the childhood home of legendary actor and singer Bing Crosby.
Staying in a hotel in downtown Spokane> is a great choice as this is where you will find many of the city’s tourist attractions.
For those wanting to learn more about Spokane’s cultural history, Riverfront Park, which is home to the famed 1974 World Fair & Exposition, is a great place to start. There are lots of places to stay close to the park. On top of that, there are multiple hotels close by the Knitting Factory, which, far from being a place to knit, is a popular live music venue.
Located in North Spokane, a brilliant stop on anyone’s trip is a visit to the aforementioned Bing Crosby House. Here, you can learn more about the Oscar-winning actor and dive into the singer’s childhood. You can stay in comfort in one of the many hotels located in North Spokane. While you are in the area, check out one of the city’s famous waterfalls, the eponymous Spokane Falls. Stay in a hotel around Huntington Park in order to glimpse views of the falls at their most dramatic point.
With a variety of amenities on offer, Spokane has great options for those wanting to stay in 4 star hotels and 3 star hotels alike. Many offer free airport shuttle services, and most have high speed internet and free parking as standard, too.
For those keen on a little bit of luxury, try one of Spokane’s many boutique hotels. In case you want to bring your furry friend along on your trip, do not worry because there are plenty of pet-friendly hotels to choose from in Spokane.
Spokane International Airport, actually does not offer any international flights, although it does have several domestic routes with large airlines, including United and Delta. For your convenience, you can opt to stay at a hotel located near the airport. These generally offer free airport transfers so you can relax and travel comfortably.
My room at the Davenport was decorated as if I was in a earlier era but the comforts are up to date. The beds are probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The lobby and ballrooms are free to walk through, an added attraction that can easily take up to an hour of your time. We walked through after our room service meal and it was the perfect way to end a very busy day. As for our room service meal, the crab Louis was perfect, crisp butter lettuce with this fabulous dressing. I would come back just for this! I recommend everyone should stay here at least once in your life. It is like no other hotel I have ever stayed in. Downside was the street noise but this small inconvenience far outweighed all the positives.
The staff were excellent and very friendly, I felt relaxed and safe. I was surprised at how quiet it was being next to the train tracks.
It was what I expected for a cheap hotel. It catered to some pretty low life people.
Pool was down but hot tub up. Breakfast offered wasn't as much as some other chain hotels but enough. A great little microwave selection was available for sale.
