The hotel was nice. Room was clean and modern. Staff was helpful and welcoming. The area outside the wrought iron fencing that the hotel has installed is very sketchy and possibly unsafe. Would not recommend walking outside the hotel grounds; esp. at night. Too bad. Spokane needs to help their homeless drug addicted residents!

Property is not in the best part of town due to the homeless shelter. The building was secure by being locked. The elevator did have a bad smell like they used a very dirty mop to clean it. The room still had crumbs in it. One of the bed sheets had a stain on it. The shower ceiling still had hair from the previous guest. I would not be staying there again.

The manager was friendly. Breakfast was hot and ready. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. 7-11 across the street was overrun by homeless and several drug deals, police and fight with injuries requiring ambulance witnessed from our 3rd floor room. Felt unsafe walking near property and even parking car behind fence as homeless were in the hotel parking lot doing drugs in evenings.

New hotel, great staff, decent breakfast. Walkable to downtown/River Park in about 15-20 min. Area around the hotel is busy with homeless folks due to nearby shelters. Didn't really bother us but may for some.

Missing the little things
The area was dangerous had had a lot of homeless. You only had cheap bunny ice cream and snacks, so I went to the 7-11 and felt afraid and I work in downtown Portland. There was no lotion or hair conditioner in the room.

The staff was friendly, the lobby, and room updated and clean. The free breakfast was great. Eggs, sausage, juice, good coffee. The homeless near the hotel is sad but we still felt safe and happy to be in Spokane.
