We'll start with the likes: The appearance of the hotel is outstanding! When you step into the lobby,i can think of few lobbies that aee better - its the equal of the main hotel across the street. The rooms are beautiful, with high ceilings amd great amenities. The bed was comfortable and large, maybe too large for me and my wife (she could get away from me! 😁). The facility is a great boutique hotel, and the intimacy is a welcome change from the busy atmosphere (and sometimes snooty!) treatment at larger hotels and resorts. Now, the not so good things: The room was next to the elevator, so the foot traffic was a lot. I have to remind myself to make sure to check theroom location in the next visit. Next, the "room darkening" curtains did not block light at the top, so the room was bright early on,and its March - summer will not be good if you like to sleep in, unless you have a sleep mask. For some weird reason, the television signal for the local stations was spotty. We weren't really there to watch TV, but if you wanted local news, it wasn't going to happen. Parking is difficult, as the parking is two blocks away. They do have valet parking at $22 a night, but if you want to bypass that, you will have to walk over to the garage at $17 a night. You can jaywalk your way through the Historic Davenport, so its not all bad... Beyond that, it was a beautiful place to stay, and i hghly recommended it!

Great hotel and location. Very much enjoyed the ale house because the bartender was thoughtful enough to ask if we wanted a second round before happy hour was over.

The Davenport Lusso is an elegant, historical hotel that is centrally located and has a great staff. Although the Lusso's facilities are somewhat limited, guests have access to the amenities at its sister hotel across the street. This was perfect for us as the hotel was very quiet (even when fully booked as it when during our stay). The staff was wonderful. Our online request for hypoallergenic bedding was acknowledged upon check-in and our room was prepared accordingly. All special requests during our stay where handled promptly. The restaurant associated with the hotel was excellent. The Lusso is located downtown within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and threatres. We parked our car when we arrived and did not use it again until we left two days later. We will return to the Lusso the next time we come to Spokane.

Wish the TV was working. Apparently the TV's in the hotel were all out.

excellent location in Spokane, very pleasant and helpful staff, lovely room

great location, had a few problems with minor things as below

Front desk staff were professional, prompt, courteous. The location was great, near riverwalk, great restaurants and walking distance to theater. Our room was very comfortable, great pillows and bed. Large bathroom was great with tub. I like the morning coffee cake and decaf that was not weak! The price was also great.

Nice older hotel that has been redone. Beds are comfortable. Close walking distance to everything. The mall is just two blocks away. Although we didn't use it, they have a free town car that will take you to, or pick you up from anywhere within 5 miles from the hotel. The only thing that was not convenient was there self parking garage is a block away, but they do have valet for 5 dollars more.

I stayed here when I had to report for federal jury duty. It was comfortable and quiet. It is only located 3 blocks from the court house. The coffee cake and coffee was very good as well.

I love the location! Hotel Lusso is close to anything you could want downtown! Great restaurants all around, shopping, and movies all with in walking distance! The only thing I thought I was going to get with the Queen room was a walk in shower which it said on the web site the room would have it but it didnt. overall we loved the stay. The sunday brunch across the street was excellent!! so worth it!! we will be coming back again very soon!

I stayed here when it was first converted to a boutique hotel years ago. The room quality and amenities are even better than before, nice to see the place has been kept up. Equal to the Davenport across the street (which now owns the Lusso.)

The staff was attentive, the hotel was charming and the room had a fantastic bed.

We love the Lusso and stay there whenever possible. The Bing Crosby Theatre is just across the street along with fine dining and shopping within a 3 block radius. It makes for a wonderful getaway weekend!

I was really impressed with the beauty and prestige of this hotel. We felt very welcome and had a comfortable stay.

The hotel was nice BUT they don't offer room service. Also, don't do the dry cleaning provided by the hotel. We went to the front desk to pick it up and it wasn't there. Hours later the manager told us he could give us a max of $75 for the loss. Not even close Lusso. Fortunately, 2 hours before the wedding, the following day, they found our clothes. GEEZ!

The staff was great, but the room was not what I expected. I had a Standard Queen and it felt tiny. The bathroom was disproportionately large, but for some reason had a tall moveable metal shelf - a little odd. There was a tiny window in the corner of the room, not centered, so the room had very little natural light. I was in town for a week for business and I just could not see myself staying there comfortably, so I switched over to their sister hotel, the Davenport Inn. Again the staff at Hotel Lusso was great, but I think the whole place just needs a facelift and perhaps some construction work to make it more comfortable.

This is a really charming hotel. I really enjoyed staying there. It is much quieter than the Davenport. My only complaint was that they did not have a room ready for me and I had a business webcast I had to participate on. They also did not have a private business center room so I had to pick a spot in the hallway to sit on a three hour webcast. A bit inconvenient But I would stay there again and just watch my timing!

The entrance is inviting and luxurious and the staff are friendly and professional. Finding my room or the stairs is always a bit of a maze at first, but it's not a very large hotel so I learned fast.

This is a beautiful old hotel with high ceilings and lot of space. My only complaint has to do with the bathroom. I am 5'2" so short, but not abnormally so. The bathroom mirror was so high I could only see half of my face. The bathtub ledge was so high that I almost fell getting out of the shower.
