Due to the noise from the train and the bright light coming into the room all night from under the short curtains, we did not sleep well at all, woken regularly, and won't be returning. The front desk staff was great though and the room was nice and clean.
Room was nice but the creaky floorboards were annoying. The person who checked me in was a bit of a Dufus. I asked him if the breakfast was a full breakfast - He said "yes". I asked him to confirm there would be eggs and bacon - he said "no". He then added I could purchase a breakfast sandwich from the vending machine.
I liked the movie screen in the parking lot playing and the artwork but the elevator was scary going up its an old building. Room was clean and the hotel is affordable. The surrounding area is near a-lot of homeless people and parking is limited I had to park in a pay by phone spot.
Loved the commissioned art in the park garage. The staff were wonderful, professional and courteous. Excellent. Will recommend.
A little dated, but central location. Done eclectic character for the premises.
Property was not clean or well kept. Very disappointing and was therefore over priced. Wouldn’t recommend.
They put earrings on a pig. I'ts basically a motel that they put a veneer of style over. You get what you pay for.

Too many sketchy individuals around especially at night time. On one of the nights there was people arguing loudly and later on that night a random individual started yelling extremely loud at the front desk lady from outside her office. Our room was 15’ away from the office so this kept us up quite sometime. Just a reminder, there’s a train that passes by every freaking 30min.
It was just nice. Rooms clean, nice vibe.
Great staff, clean rooms, safe parking area. Cable TV was out, didnt think we would mind. but on second day would have been nice to have.
Newly renovated- fun and modern decor. Excellent location to good variety of downtown restaurants and bars.
We enjoy being downtown at an affordable price. Parking is great too.
The hotel has a great location in terms of being witin walking distance of lots of stuff downtown. It's fairly recently renovated, though the layout is more like a motel than a hotel. My main issue was that the breakfast choices were minimal. There were four choices of off-brand cereals and English muffins. That's it for food. There was also coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I expect something more than 100% processed carbohydrates for breakfast even if it's only a continental breakfast (fruit, bagels with cream cheese, or hard boiled eggs would be a nice addition). Finally, this location is definitely not for the light sleeper. The trains going by at night do get quite loud.

I'm glad to hear the room and price were good, and I'm sorry about the miscommunication about parking. The lot across the street is ours as well, and as such the passes work there too. I apologize for the inconvenience of having parked elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are assuming you meant "hidden fees", and we do apologize if that is how you feel. Our staff should have gone over any additional charges with you such as parking or incidentals at the time of check-in. You may also find this information not only on the confirmation that was sent to you via Orbitz (the 3rd party you reserved through) but also on Orbitz itself, under our 'Important Information' section. We hope that you will give us another try the next time you are in town, or one of our sister properties; The Ruby, The Montvale, and Ruby River.
Thank you for staying with us and leaving a review. We apologize for the train. Since we can't control the nearby trains, unfortunately the best we can do is to offer earplugs. We are sorry to hear your stay experience was poor because of this.
