They put earrings on a pig. I'ts basically a motel that they put a veneer of style over. You get what you pay for.

Too many sketchy individuals around especially at night time. On one of the nights there was people arguing loudly and later on that night a random individual started yelling extremely loud at the front desk lady from outside her office. Our room was 15’ away from the office so this kept us up quite sometime. Just a reminder, there’s a train that passes by every freaking 30min.

It was just nice. Rooms clean, nice vibe.

Great staff, clean rooms, safe parking area. Cable TV was out, didnt think we would mind. but on second day would have been nice to have.

Newly renovated- fun and modern decor. Excellent location to good variety of downtown restaurants and bars.

We enjoy being downtown at an affordable price. Parking is great too.

The hotel has a great location in terms of being witin walking distance of lots of stuff downtown. It's fairly recently renovated, though the layout is more like a motel than a hotel. My main issue was that the breakfast choices were minimal. There were four choices of off-brand cereals and English muffins. That's it for food. There was also coffee, tea and hot chocolate. I expect something more than 100% processed carbohydrates for breakfast even if it's only a continental breakfast (fruit, bagels with cream cheese, or hard boiled eggs would be a nice addition). Finally, this location is definitely not for the light sleeper. The trains going by at night do get quite loud.

nice lobby and eat-in area. The rooms were updated nicely

Parking was terrible. They charged $5 for parking . They should have paid me for trying to get in and out of there. Train tracks were what seemed to be 30 yards away. Trains were running slow through there quite often. (Thankfully they didn’t blow the whistle when it passed by.) in the underground parking the door to the elevator is inside the locked door just to get to front desk. So everyone (including handicapped ) has to try to go up a steep cement ramp outside to get into the front desk office. A very inconvenient way to get to front desk. Rooms were clean and simple. No complaints there. Front desk folks were nice. But We won’t go back.

Basic room with a stand up shower. Had no issues with bed or bathroom. I could tell the walls were poorly repaired but overall it was just fine for what I needed and would possibly stay there again.

Good location, clean, no fuss. Very close to a train track, trains running overnight at 15 - 20 minutes intervals :( If you are a good sleeper that doesn't bother you, otherwise it's frustrating.

train noise. property is RIGHT NEXT TO the train traveling thru downtown Spokane.

The shower, and the bed, was so clean and the T.V didn't only work but, it had great channels. Me and my boyfriend got to watch “Captain America 1, and 2”.

Stephen, We would like to know more about your stay. Was there an issue you reached out to the front desk about? Is there any constructive feedback you can provide for improvement? We are happy to take any well meaning input you might have for us as this is how we grow as a company. Best Steam Plant Management

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are assuming you meant "hidden fees", and we do apologize if that is how you feel. Our staff should have gone over any additional charges with you such as parking or incidentals at the time of check-in. You may also find this information not only on the confirmation that was sent to you via Orbitz (the 3rd party you reserved through) but also on Orbitz itself, under our 'Important Information' section. We hope that you will give us another try the next time you are in town, or one of our sister properties; The Ruby, The Montvale, and Ruby River.
