Room was beautiful but we didn't have the view I would have liked, and room did not have all the amenities advertised. It was very clean and comfortable. I didn't care for the parking and load in/out system, and it was a bit pricey at $22 not counting tip, and still did not include a kart or convenient way to move your baggage without going the bellhop route. Pool was beautiful and very clean and private.

I enjoyed the history and the ambiance of this hotel. Overall the staff was wonderful, most of them were really friendly and helpful, a couple weren't as engaging. The only serious complaint was the shower was slippery, I slipped but caught myself, if a person fell it could be dangerous, hard surface. I learned to put a towel on the ledge as I walked out of the shower. I would stay here again.

Having lived in Spokane as a child, I had a vague memory of the Davenport. It was showing its age, but looked like a nice, classic place. I finally got the opportunity to stay there, and can't think of a finer experience! Starting with the hotel staff at check-in, to when I left 3 days later, there was not one complaint, other than the construction on the surrounding streets, and the sounds of freight trains a few blocks away. The room was fantastic, with a comfortable, plush bed and one of the nicest showers I've ever used! I can't wait for my next stay!!

This hotel met all of our expectations!! It had a gorgeous ambience, comfortable elegant rooms with comfortable beds, friendly staff, a great lounge at the peacock lounge for dunks and food. It's walking distance to the mall and other shops and restaurants. We will be back!

Our stay was great, the only complain is your pillows. They where too flat. Other than that, great experience and beautiful hotel.

My son and I stayed here for 3 nights. Every staff member we came across was VERY friendly and helpful. Staff members were genuinely kind and willing to go out of their way to help make our stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was basic but beautiful! The location of he hotel is in perfect walking distance to Riverfront Park. It is in the heart of downtown. The only "negative" of this hotel was the small indoor pool. Aside from that we had a wonderful stay here!

This hotel is locate in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants. The room was simple and clean. Staff was nice.

Only stayed one night to catch an early flight the next morning. The room was spotless. The mattress is the most comfortable my husband and I have every experienced. We want to buy one! The fitness center is small but equipment is top of the line. We would definitely stay here again and recommend without hesitation.

The hotel was an amazing piece of history and beautiful.

The Historic Davenport is a beautiful hotel - great restaurants and food. Loved the lobby and conference area with all of the historic photos. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Free wifi with no password so very accessible. The room we were given was clean and very large - with a large tub and separate walk-in shower. But you needed a step stool to get into the king bed - let's just say after a certain age, this is not fun. And it wasn't that comfortable - a bit too pillowy. Due to complications with the conference reservation process, we switched midway to the Davenport Tower. Although not happy about this, we ended up liking the Tower. Much better bed - still a king but no step stool needed. This room did not have a tub but did have the walk-in shower which is all we needed. Neither hotel had coffee/tea in the room. So to wrap up - I would probably stay at the Davenport Tower again. But not at the Historic Davenport. The two hotels are almost the same but we liked the bed better at the Tower. They are literally across the street from each other so you can enjoy the historic hotel without staying there. Both have very good restaurants.

The Davenport Hotel is a true historical gem in the heart of Spokane. It has been painstakenely restored by true craftsmen and their care and love of their work shows everywhere. The entire staff is extremely professional and knowledgable about the history and happy to share it with you. I took my extended family here to share their heritage of the area of our 3 generations and ALL of us had a wonderful experience.

Very comfortable room and bed. Good restaurant. Pretty lobby.

This hotel has a perfect location to enjoy downtown Spokane. The room is well appointed, bed/linens are so comfortable. Staff is so accomodating. Excellent restaurant.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, extremely comfortable beds, and the decor makes you feel like you're on an African Safari. Be cautious when taking a shower though, the water temperature isn't regulated at the spout and can change quickly!

Lovely room - very close to rail line and trains run all night long. You have to accept this as part of the experience, but if you are not good at screening out train noise, you might want to move a bit further from the train line. Bed is very high - not appropriate for infirm, but great for the agile!

I feel house keeping was Great.! But the front counter person who received me, just didn't strike me as a warm, high quality and enthusiastic about me arriving. She failed in handing me a garage ticked, after having charged my credit card for parking. A big warm smile was needed and attention to detail.

When I go to spokane I always stay at the Davenport!

Beautiful place, weddings non stop. No disruption to us just beautiful brides

Nice location across the original Davenport Hotel which is worth checking out while in Spokane. Where that hotel is classic, the tower aims to be modern with a loud lobby and bar, which I did not like as much. Room was clean but did not accommodate 3 per our reservation.
