We booked a stay at Airport Ramada Spokane for a 5 year old's birthday party because they have pools w/water slide,Hot tub etc. Check in time is anytime after 3pm, we showed up at around 5 pm they said our room was not ready so we stood around the lobby till 7:30 pm before we were issued a room key. When we went to our room we opened the door only to find a nice family that was very surprised that we were able to open the door to their room. So another 20 minutes later we were issued another room key to a downgraded room but at this point I would have taken anything.The room was not the cleanest but better than sleeping in the car. So when the kids from 4 different families went to the pool to have the birthday party we found the waterslide was closed. This is after we called to make sure it was all working and open. The hot tub was also out of order. So in conclusion, It was more than 4 hours past check-in time and we waited 2 and a half hours in the lobby. Half of the pool related stuff did not work. I will never stay there again. They offered no reduction or money back.

Nice clean comfy room, easy and convenient access to airport. I had know problems except for the poor or lack of internet service. It kept cutting off and was very hard to access.

The staff did the best they could but we arrived at 6:30PM and no 2 queen rooms were available, so we settled for a king room even tho we had ourselves and our 3 year old. We went swimming and the pool was disgusting - I had to swim briefly because we'd promised our 3 year old but my wife would not get in the pool. When we returned to our room it had been given to another couple. My wife had to go to the desk to clear this up in her bathing suit while I waited with our three year old at the room in our bathing suits. To top it off the fridge didn't work and when we got our milk in the morning it was spoiled. All in all a really unsatisfactory experience.

Room was dirty. Food was terrible. They offered waffles but no syrup or jam. The outlet in the room had something stuck in it so it didn't work. Hair on the shower walls. When we first got there were given a room and when we walked in one of the beds was in made like it never got cleaned from the people previous. Went to the front desk and got another dirty room. Pool slide and hot tub were also closed

The room was excellent except I had to pay an extra early check in fee of $30 even though I had a room the night before that was unoccupied, but paid for because I was stuck in Seattle all night. I had to put up $20 cash collateral for the room in case of damages because I had no debit card only the early evening desk clerk was very rude about returning the $20 collateral when I leave out of here at 3:30 this morning to catch my 5:05 plane. All in all, I would probably stay here again because the rest of the staff was very pleasant.

Communication to the guests prior to them checking in would be the correct thing to do and let them know that only one small pool is open. That is what excellent customer service looks like and will have people coming back to stay. Not telling them something so crucial (as 3 of the 4 pool areas are closed) is the same is not being honest.
