We booked this hotel specifically for the water slide and have stayed here more than five times in the past. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to learn at check-in that the slide was out of order. I understand that some issues are beyond a hotel’s control, but we then discovered that the hot tub and kiddie pool were also unavailable.
The problems didn’t end there—when we went to breakfast, signs were posted stating there would be no hot breakfast that morning. Overall, it felt frustrating to pay a premium price while so many advertised amenities were unavailable.
When I contacted management, the response was simply, “Sorry, we’re working on a system to notify people when the slide is out.” While I appreciate the apology, it didn’t address the larger issue of multiple amenities being closed during our stay.
