I chose this hotel due to it's closeness to the Doctor's Building and the hospital. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The free breakfast is advertised as 'continental breakfast' but it is far more than that & it is good. The staff is very friendly, personable & efficient. On our 2nd stay we didn't have hot water until our 2nd night. The parking lot really needed to be cleared of snow & ice - we will stay here again...
The setting is in a wooded section which was quite nice. The noise level was low - in fact, there was no outside noise. There was plenty of hot water... the desk clerks were friendly and helpful - the only negative was the limited parking and the snow & ice left on the parking lot... we will stay here again as it is 2 minutes from my doctor and the hospital...
I called the hotel around 2:00 to let them know that we would be checking in around 10:00 - 11:00 Pm. The lady on the phone told me she would leave a note about it and that it was fine. We got there a little past 10:00 PM, the door was locked, and there was a sign to use a phone by the wall to call. I had to call twice and wait a while until someone showed up. The lady wasn’t friendly at all; her facial expression indicated that she was annoyed by our presence. She asked for the card I paid with; I told her I used a digital card. She then said she would need another form of payment for a $100 deposit; I told her I wasn’t aware of a deposit. She said the language about the deposit was at the bottom of the page, but I read it all, and there wasn’t any mention of a deposit. She also asked for the names of all the guests. I’ve never had this happen at other places we’ve stayed, so I am unsure if that’s something hotels can do. We were given a room on the first floor, which smelled like cigarettes, even though the facility was non-smoking. The only good thing about the place was the lovely housekeeping lady who was friendly and said good morning to us, and also the breakfast lady. They were both nice. When we checked out, we only had to leave the key in like a container and weren’t given a receipt for it or anything. I asked about the deposit, and the man at the front desk informed me that it would take about 7-10 days for it to get refunded. We will see if that even happens.
Quiet location. Difficulty for rideshare to find as main drive associated with address is blocked. All uber / lyft drivers had to circle as it is confusing entering the property for the first time.
Adequate, clean.
Parking was usually full in the evenings. Breakfasts were ok, but not great.
they still have a hold on 129 dollars on hold from the 17th
very nice stay
Reserved a two queen per friendly room, received a one king room with added (surprise) fees for my pet. Very, very limited on site parking, I ended up having to park on the street
The location was very convenient for going coming from Providence Hospital. Property tidy and clean.
Very nice hotel we will stay again. The room was nice no complaints. Breakfast was in a bag due to Covid. Shower was ok needs new shower head. Pillows and bed were good.

Hello Xochil, Thank you for choosing The Madison Inn by Riversage. I am very sorry your stay did not meet up with expectations. Regarding your deposit, it is standard in the hotel industry that there be some form of security to protect the hotel in case of damages by a guest. Once you depart the hotel, the deposit is canceled, but it is up to your bank to refund your money and this, unfortunately, usually takes several days. You will get your deposit back. Regarding our staff, I apologize if the Clerk on duty did not handle your check in well. That is not up to our standards and we will provide some refresher training for her. I'm sure your housekeeper enjoyed interacting with you: they have a difficult job and appreciate friendly smiles from the guests. Please come again, Xochil, and give us another try. Thank you.
