Hyatt At Olive 8

Recent guest reviews

Our recent stay at Hyatt At Olive 8 was absolutely stellar. On arrival, Mary, greeted us warmly and provided a wonderful start to our vacation. She was efficient and extremely helpful in every regard. Our room was absolutely excellent. It was, hands down, the very best hotel room in which we have ever had the pleasure of staying as a family. The corner room was huge and well appointed with generous seating. The view was very good and there was an abundance of windows. The storage/closet space was phenomenal; the best we have ever experienced anywhere. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with excellent fixtures and high-quality, organic toiletries. We were surrounded by a plethora of restaurants and shopping. We were very close to all forms of mass transit. Many major attractions were within easy walking distance. Downtown Seattle is a very walkable city and this hotel takes full advantage of this. The gym is excellent and has every major type of equipment from cable machines to cardio equipment to free weights. The only thing which would have perfected the space would be some versatile boxing/martial arts equipment like a heavy bag, though this would indeed be "gilding the lily". The spa and restaurant are wonderful. The coffee bar area was also great but it would have been nice if it could have stayed open a little later. Overall, we very highly recommend this hotel. We have finally found our new 'Go-To' hotel in Seattle!

Everyone was sweet and professional and very helpful I left extremely happy!

Great location. Wonderful staff! Lovely spa, pool, and gym!

Holiday in the city with family from all over! Very festive and fun!

Treated our grown children to a holiday in the city..close to Theatre, ballet and great restaurants. Friendly, helpful staff! Accommodating arrivals of all! Great experience!

I was walking around downtown for 20 minutes looking for the hotel. Someone pointed me to the Hyatt, but at check in the concierge told me i was at the wrong Hyatt! She was sweet enough to walk me across the street and down the block to the correct one. Thank you sweet blonde front desk lady!

Our experience was amazing! The amentities were superb. The eatery was fantastic. Everything was walking distance as well. Our room was so spacious and clean. I have zero complaints and I am definitely recommending Hyatt to all my friend and family.

The hotel is very convenient in location. The staffs are very helpful and friendly. Love to stay here again !❤️

$55 for parking a day. Outrage and is highway robbery. The hotel next door offers it for $35 a day. Still kinda expensive but a little more responsible. Also the restaurant on sight is not very good. Save your money and eat elsewhere. Overall not a great stay here at the olive 8.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. It is in walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and the waterfront. There is an overnight parking fee that we were not aware of at the time of booking. Self park for $35 at Hyatt Grand which is across the street or a nightly fee of $55 for valet parking. With that said, I wouldn't suggest renting a vehicle for your stay. Uber is everywhere and you can be picked up with 5-10 min at any given time.

Great place to stay. The room was great; comfortable bed, well appointed, friendly staff. The location was perfect with easy access to each area of the city. Couldn’t have asked for a better situation. Will definitely stay again

Great location, clean room, excellent staff, wonderful facilities. Quick walk to Pike Market, Capitol Hill, the Space Needle, Lake Union, etc. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Great staff, all so friendly and helpful. Restaurant weak for breakfast. Bed and pillows so uncomfortable. Jane and I did not sleep well for our 7 nights

It was a quick stay, but very comfortable. I wish there was more consideration for parking because that area of town is hard!

Last minute decision to hang downtown for our 10 year anniversary. We have a 1 year old so we didn't want to go far but I definitely wanted something nice for my wife and the Hotel absolutely delivered. They put us on the 17th floor in an incredible suite. The lights took some figuring out but were pretty cool. Room service was delicious. Best marinara I've had yet! Breakfast was great and the staff was very accommodating (wife didn't realize Irish coffee had alcohol in it...) We have stayed in many places and find Hyatt to be a reliable resource for a quality high end stay. This location was no different and was a wonderful 1 night getaway for these two exhausted parents! The large picture windows, super cool tv in mirror, giant soaking tub, swimming facilities, food etc were all simply on point. Thanks to the staff for holding the Hyatt standard!

Great hotel and is centrally located to everything

We were very impressed with this hotel! It was very clean, the room was large, and all of the little imenities were a fabulous touch! We didn't have time In our stay to check out the pool or spa, but when we come back, we plan on checking them out!! We had a pretty cool view from the 7th floor too!

Stayed several days in an enormous suite with spouse and 8 year old son. We made daily use of the pool/hot tub and spa locker rooms. Nice central location.

Just a block from convention center. Quiet room. Nice decor.

Was in the king suite. Amazing! Had a huge bathroom and bathtub. Great view and spacious. It was perfect.
