I enjoyed the Nest sky lounge in the AM, however, they have opened it up to the public as well, and with only 1 elevator in the hotel, even guest has to go down to the 1st floor to get ID checked, before go up to lounge OR wait in an insane line out the door that starts at 3:30pm. And the lounge was PACKED, like not-cool packed. I was disappointed that it wasn't held exclusive for guests. I would have paid more per night, to have exclusive access. But they have to make money. But it is a downside to the hotel - only 2 elevators, which have limited capacity and are slow, yet, they'd rather have the lobby crowded with non-guests waiting in a line to create an appearance of desirability for the lounge? ( this is the explanation I can come up). However, in the mornings, it was a nice place to have coffee or a bloody mary ( this access IS exclusive to guests)

Such a nice hotel, right across the street from Pike Place. Walking distance to everything, easy transportation. Great valet and some great street parking. Loved the decor; very updated and the bathroom was so cool it made me want to remodel my bathroom at home. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was great; we were offered sparkling wine at check0in, which was great since it was NYE. Very clean and nice honor bar.

NIce hotel. Slow service in the Scout restaurant. Suspect it reflects decreased staff due to minimum wage requirements.

Short stay to be close to downtown after visiting a friend in northern Seattle. Great quick stay !!

This place.. Thompson was far Beyond my expectation. I am just surprised to see that this hotel only has 4.5 stars. I travel a lot and have stayed at many different hotels all around the world. Thompson is definitely one of my very best experience in terms of Staffs and their services. Just amazing hotel, provided me and my fiance with amazing accommodation. The location itself made the hotel extraordinary. It is located in the very middle of safe and yolk of Seattle downtown. Everything was in the walkable distance including market places, great restaurants, and shopping streets & malls. Staff were extremely welcoming and pleasant, treated the customers with respect and professionalism. Roof top bar had most amazing view of the city. Room was very clean and modern. Will definitely go again. Seattle?? Thompson is the choice.

We only spent one night and very impressed with how professional th staff is.

Great location to Seattle Center. I was disappointed in the room. It was not worth the price. And was just as good as other motels I've stayed in for a fraction of the cost. I was expecting a spectacular suite for the very expensive price charged. This hotel only offers complimentary fruit water, with a bowl of apples! Coffees is outrageous! The hotel does not offer complimentary coffee. They want $9 a small pot! The refrigerator is full but even though I paid double for my room, everything in it cost money!! $9 bottle of water!! We found a dirty hairy rag on the shelf in the shower! Although the view of the bay was nice nothing was worth doubling my stay price. I am highly disappointed and I feel ripped off! I should get $2000 back! A regular room over priced and stocked with overpriced items for sale!!!!!!!

Wanted a nice hotel close to Pike Place Market since we didn't have much time there. Very accommodating to our adult children who arrived early in the day and great with shuttle for family of five with plenty of suitcases to cruise terminal the next day.

The staff here are amazing. You are right next to the public market and the ferries to the other islands. Try the rooftop.

The greeting by your staff at our arrival and the friendly service were a pleasant start for our first visit to Seattle. The overall opinion of Seattle leaves us with mixed feelings. The usual attractions, as the Space Needle and the waterfront area with the great shopping were as expected. The Seattle Art Museum was exceptional and the Seattle Aquarium. Our trips with Argosy Tours and NW tours were great. The only downside were the many homeless individuals in the Downtown area that is in sharp contrast with the many existing and under construction apartment buildings. Walking around the area makes us apprehensive with the many unsettling misery condition of these people. Being from New York area, we are familiar with this problem, but Seattle's population about one tenth of NYC, it surprised us.

Amazing hotel, very conveniently located next to pikes market. Wonderful food all around. Hotel was very comfortable and the staff was amazing.

Hotel staff was great and the room was very nice a clean. We were upgraded to a 12th floor room but didn't realize there was a roof top bar. From 10-midnight, we could hear conversations, chairs/tables moving and people walking. If you don't get a room with a water view, your view is office buildings and construction sites. The location is what sold us and made up for the noise. It is a 2 min walk to Pike Place and about a 8 min walk to the water front.

My husband and I had the best time ever in Seattle. We've been there before, but first time at the Thompson Seattle. Kept within walking distance of Pikes Marketplace, Waterfront, and downtown Seattle and could not have chosen a better hotel for walking the city. Up to date, clean and comfortable. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their smiling faces always set the tone for the day. We never touched the front door; Bellmen were right there to open it for us coming and going. We thought it was a fun touch to get into the elevator and have the throw rug greet us (depending on time of day) with "GOOD MORNING", "GOOD AFTERNOON", or "GOOD EVENING." We will be telling everyone about the Thompson Seattle for years to come. Special thanks to Melissa & Angelica at the Front Desk, Steven and Denzel, Bellmen who were always there to greet us coming and going and open the door for us.

Nice location and building. Great service. No pay per view. Lots of noise from construction. Wi-Fi was sporatic
