Great location for the Neptune Theater!
Valet guy very pushy and makes you check in car even if just dropping off bags. There is free parking after 8pm down the block or valet is $42 plus tax. There is an old almost cigarette smoke in the walls of the hotel. However positive the views from rooftop are nice.
Hotel was a charming and cute place to stay, loved my room, convenient area with fun restaurants, and friendly staff. Enjoyed my short stay there and was great for my solo traveler-visiting artist needs.
Clean and inviting
The staff were charming and helpful. The room I had, although tiny, was immaculate and adorably decorated. I felt very welcomed and comfortable, enjoyed the plush mattress and yummy soaps and hair shampoo.
Loved the eclectic rooms, the comfy bed and the cool common areas and decor.
We liked the location and how the hotel was decorated. We did not like the fact that we were there for 3 days and the staff never cleaned or resupplied our room.
I loved the decoration of the hotel and the staff was super helpful. I had a wonderful stay.
My only comment is the gap under the door. I was in room 1209. The gap between the threshold and the door was wide...…..you could have pushed two dinner plates (stacked on top) under the door. Other then that a good room and a good stay
The staff are friendly and well informed about local activities. The remodel is stunning and beautiful and suggest guests look around the first floor. A good nights sleep on a bed we wished we had at home. The only draw back is the very expensive valet parking.
The only negative was that the restaurant became "over 21 only" after 6pm so my teenager and I could not have dinner there.
location, roof deck bar, views from room, staff at check in
We chose if because of its proximity to the Univ. of Wash. and believing it had free parking. NOT. Paid $35 a day to park! No real restaurant on premises, just a coffee shop. Tub shower, not walk-in shower. We were moved to a handicapped accessible room second day, which helped, but it had no light in shower.
The bathroom is super small, the additional doorlocks are just chains, they don't have dresser drawers, and the place smells old. Also, the food in the rooftop bar is expensive and terrible. On a bright side though, the staff is nice and professional.
The rooftop bar/restaurant provides wonderful views of Seattle.
I didn't like that the property was overbooked and nobody told me.
