I stayed here for a week - very pleasant stay - only issue I had was due to my own fault - I didnt know they do not take cash upon sign in. Due to the fact I had reserved thru Orbitz. I had planned on paying in cash as not to put that much on my credit card. Anyways - hotel is about 2 minutes from Applebees - and about 3 minutes from Gianna's... both nice restaraunts. Hotel staff is very helpful - Rueben - and Stacey - were very helpful. The breakfast in the mornings was good - and the cookies in the evenings hit the spot. I had my small dog with me - and there was no issues with him either. They offer a shuttle service to and from the train station. Worked out great for me going to see a Yankee's game!!! They also shuttle within a 5 mile radius to the local shopping malls etc. It was pretty busy most days that I was there - with weddings etc. But if you had any questions someone was glad to help you. The room was very nice and had room to move around. Bathroom was very nice - shower was nice temp with good water pressure.

We had confirmed reservation yet when we arrived to check in front desk staff member Ruben stated " we don't deal with third party reservations". He was very unhelpful in trying to find out what the issue might be. So we called Orbitz ourselves and a very helpful customer care person spoke at length with the front desk and we were told it has been sorted out and to wait a few minutes. Before hanging up the phone we asked the front desk staff (by this time Ruben had left)Natalie if she is sure she got all the details from Orbitz, to which she replied in the affirmative. Then after waiting for sometime we again asked them the status and Natalie proceeded to inform us they didn't get the details right from Orbitz and that we should call them again. Mind you they screwed up ingetting the details from Orbitz yet they wanted us to contact them. When we raised this concern they were extremely rude to us and were simply refusing to helpout. Notwithstanding their behavior we decided to cancel our reservation through Orbitz and had to find another option urgently.Thankfully Marriott had a room available. It was such a drama over at least an hour and a half and we didn't even get the room. In summary the front desk is extremely unhelpful and seemed to completely disregard reservations through Orbitz. Would advise everyone to stay away from this place and opt for other options and there are in fact plenty of other good options in the area

When i checked in the fuest in front of me got a complemnetary bottle of water and it was not offered to me? Just curious.

I like the hotel, however, the bathroom's water does not get hot. I had to shower with the water being pretty cold for 3 nights. It's winter, the last thing any wants is a cold shower. But besides that it's overall a nice hotel with good breakfast

Clean and not too expensive. Easy access to NYC and yankee Stadium. overall good experience have stayed here 3 times for various NYC events

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating whenever possible. Between the shuttle to/from the train station everyday, hot breakfast in the morning, and the general manager assisting when other staff were busy was great. The hotel was quiet and somewhat isolated from other busy areas. Just wish the hotel pool was a little warmer but other than that I would absolutely stay again.

We stayed at this hotel just for a night as we were meeting up with friends that lived near by. Overall the experience was good. Although we spent minimal time in the room it was clean, and for the price exactly what we needed. Throughout our stay we were continuously greeted by friendly staff, and had no real complaints about the room. We would have liked the bar to open earlier as I believe they said it was not open until 5 or 5:30. The location was a little further off than we had expected but that was more our fault for not checking.

Though our trip was brief it was very. Comfortable and enjoyable

We've come back to a hotel that we have visited before. The only less than perfect thing is the breakfast hours and kitchen staff. They close the breakfast area promptly at 10am. On new years day too! They will say items are gone when even my daughter can see the big bag of fruit loops on the kitchen prep counter. Geeez. All other areas were fantastic. Swimming. Exercise room. Spacious rooms. We stays three nights.

I was very disapointed with our hotel, We were in town (NYC) for the holidays and stay in Yonkers, Day 2 after being away from the room all day we returned to a somewhat clean bathroom with no towels, the front desk apologized, removed the dirty towels and gave us clean replacement. Day 3, once again being away all day this time we returned to an unclean room. Nothing was done, beds unmade, dirty towels still were we left them that morning. garbage, etc, etc, I called the front desk to complain and told them we were leaving the next day, one day earlier, They apologize and brought us replacement towels.

Great place to stay for a quick trip into the city. Very comfortable, safe and reasonably priced.

The staff were most helpful in providing information and service. A value for location and amenities .

We had a 2 bed queen suite. It was average. The lobby is more updated than the suite. However the suite was comfortable for us. We had a make up artist and hair stylist with us and we didnt feel cramped. All and all I would have liked more "newness" considering the cost.

nice hotel - nice staff

I like the hotel, however, the bathroom's water does not get hot. I had to shower with the water being pretty cold for 3 nights. It's winter, the last thing any wants is a cold shower. But besides that it's overall a nice hotel with good breakfast
