Staff was very helpful
I have enjoyed staying here. Place is very clean. Staff is friendly. Good for anyone staying in SF. Walking distance the fisherman’s warf and other tourist places.
All inclusive, amazing food, and friendly staff.
The property is in the good location, walking distance to pier 39, cable car, etc. There are lots of good places to eat around. It is clean, quiet and they have complemt wifi, bike, fishing equipment and $20/day credit for f&b.
The location is central. The beds were so hard/firm that it was impossible to get a good night's sleep: they were very uncomfortable, and we kept tossing and turning. The bathroom door was off, and kept getting stuck. My husband went to the bathroom during the night, and made so much noise trying to open the bathroom door to get out, I woke up thinking someone was trying to break down the door to our room. There was inadequate signage in the lobby for the elevators. A family of 4 tried to get into the (small) elevator with our family of 3, and we just got out and caught the next one: there would have been no way to maintain social distancing with 7 people in such a small space. A sign to point to would have been helpful. All in all, we were glad to leave and don't plan to come back to this hotel.
I had a Good stay
I will no longer be frequenting hotels that have changed their check-in times from about 2PM to 4PM so that they can pressure clients to pay an extra $50 to check-in upon arrival. Many flights arrive in cities in the mornings and early afternoon. Hotels, like Marriott, have found a way to squeeze more money out of their clients with this policy. Their charge of a "hospitality fee" is yet another rip-off. For this fee you get a $20 credit in their restaurant, whose menu is just mediocre. And if you use the coupon, you are really only getting about $5-$6 worth of food for the $20 fee. I never used to check the check-in times because they were almost universally 2:00PM. And if I needed an early check-in because I arrived at about noon or 1PM, I was never charged if allowed to check in, or if it was not available, the wait was not too long. But arriving at noon or 1PM and being told that a room was available but I could not check in unless I paid an addition $50 is something I never again plan to be faced with. Otherwise, everything about the hotel was just average and nothing to get excited about. It's location is really what makes it attractive.
Property is in a great location.
Property clean and staff was friendly. I love the Marriott b/c beds are usually comfortable, unlike my bed at Fisherman’s Wharf which was extremely uncomfortable. I awoke throughout the night due the mattress disturbance to my back.
Great location, friendly service. Thought the parking price of $50 per day wad very high seeings how it wasnt on site.
Everything was excellent
The location is ideal, especially for those who do not have a car. It is a very short walk to Fisherman's Wharf, about a half of a mile to Little Italy, and about a mile to Chinatown. The lobby is well appointed and allows for social distancing when waiting for Uber or Lyft. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean and well maintained.
Nice experience at this hotel, super clean, excellent location.
