Room keys did not work,, it took two trips to the front desk to finally get a key card that worked. Stayed two nights. Room was not cleaned after the first night. Supposedly coffee available 24/7, Had coffee but no cups.

This hotel is perfection. We are not easy to please. We have family member with allergy issues and traveling is a nightmare. We have never used a hotel and it be perfect until our visit to Homewood Suites, and we travel A LOT. It offered pool, basketball courts and basketball, super clean hotel rooms, well laid out. Even free breakfast. We couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more and talked nonstop of how clean and home-like our room was. This is the best hotel in Reno as far as we are concerned. Couldn't recommend more, especially if clean and environmentally friendly is needed. This is it.

Excellent customer service. The staff was very attentive to request made. I couldn't have chosen a better place for a long term business stay. Away from downtown Reno yet only a 5 minute drive away. Fantastic

It's hard to provide a rating on this hotel using the standard system. It's a standard Homewood Suites and, for the most part, a pretty nice one. They have ceiling fans in the bedroom area - which is a wonderful surprise. Our room had some wear and tear, but nothing to the point of preventing us from using it. Pillows suck, but that's pretty standard in just about every hotel that you stay in these days. However, we had two complaints for our stay that knocked it down to the "poor" category. First - I'm not sure what has happened to putting a regular coffee pot in the room, but I wish it would return. If you want to use your own coffee during your stay, it isn't possible. For someone using this hotel as an extended stay location, good luck having coffee other than what is provided. Second; and most important - the lobby area of this place stinks. It had a nauseating smell of disinfectant or cleaning solution. It was there when we checked in, when we went to the social hour later and the next morning when we checked out. It was so strong and horrible that we weren't able to sit and take advantage of the social hour that was offered. If this smell is on purpose, please, please reconsider the olfactory assault and make it so that everyone can enjoy the amenities that are offered by the hotel. The smell in the lobby area is the one single thing that will keep us from considering this hotel again if/when we return to the area.

If you've been to, or live in, Reno, you know that it can be tattered around the edges. Not this place. It is big, beautiful, and comfortable. And it includes a spacious porte cochere for luggage loading and unloading -- unusual for many Homewoods, which ask guests to load in the rain or baking sun. There are extensive breakfast choices -- even spinach in the eggs, and little touches such as containers of different jellies rather than those annoying little tear-off grape jelly containers. There's even a large selection of fresh fruit, including a vat of blueberries -- all highly unusual at these chain properties. The furnishings are classy and comfortable, the staff uniformly friendly, and, to our delight, the hotel has both large, standard-size carts available for those (like us) who want and need them, and the small, three-wheel zippies preferred by (possibly no one or) people in a hurry. For us this was, unfortunately, just a one-night stay. We left wishing we could have stayed many days more. P.S. TO TRIP ADVISOR -- Again, I ask that you pay more attention to the questions you ask below. Often they're confusing, and you're not sure how to answer. In this case, you asked about airport transportation not once but twice.

I always stay here when I go for work events. They offer breakfast and dinner included! Always a great experience. Rooms always big, they have a kitchen, have a desk for work, have extra blankets and plenty of towels. Thanks!!

Lack of space small cramped rooms lack of space for cloths and cold breakfasts. Sub part Internet conception and speed. Not happy it is a lesson than normal experience sub par that was disappointing and makes me think twice about using this chain again.

We had two suites. Great location, (we weren't there for the casinos) stellar staff, and our rooms were roomy and comfortable. My only complaint was that the carpeting in both suites was patched and stained. Time to upgrade that. But the rooms were still clean and comfy.

we appreciated that your hotel was available for us during our difficult time. we always use you hotel when we come up to reno, Nv. the amenities were great. we really appreciate the rooms so that our family can spread out and not be on top of each other. we well be back again next July. we were able to get these rooms almost at short notice and we really appreciated this.

Property was nice and clean. Customer service was great at the time of checking in. Manager seemed not happy when I had to pointed out the toilet was noisy and AC was super loud. She apologized at the end but u can tell she did it just to shut you up. I hate to give bad reviews but it is what it is.
