Homewood Suites Reno3.0 out of 5.0

Firstly, the staff at this hotel are amazing. Lot of fun, takes a joke, always a smile. Upgrade was glad given from a standard two queen to a full blow 2 bedroom suite. So, you might be asking why not a 5 star review? Cold showers and a very long walk to the room. Besides not being able to get warm water (even after 10 minutes of running the water) it's a long walk with a lot of bags to the entrance to the elevator and walk down a long corridor to another really long corridor. TV's were new and most everything seemed to be in good shape minus the carpets. I dunno, I loved the staff...but the cold shower...it really irritated me. I will also note the hotel is a mere 9 minutes to the airport, which makes this place extremely convenient.
We've stayed at this Homewood suites before because I am a patient of Dr. Forsythe at the Century Wellness Clinic. The staff is very nice. The food delicious and very convenient to be able to eat at the hotel especially when undergoing treatments and not wanting to go anywhere. The rooms are convenient so I could rest and my husband could watch TV and not bother me.
The staff is nice. The mattress and furniture need replacing. Carpet in room 203 is nothing short of disgusting. I'm disgusted with myself for paying to stay here. No USB ports in room. I guess they congratulated themselves after installing nice flat screen televisions and called it a day. The TV system itself is not on par with other hotels. Meaning no channel identification and long delay before channel functions when using remote.
I'd recommend this hotel to you. Price and services were very nice. Room was so clean, also complementary breakfast was also delicious. If you visit here, you are definitely satisfied with this hotel.
After I'd been up for 17 hours moving and driving, I was exhausted, and about 8 miles from the Hotel, I called, and asked if there was anything weird about finding the spot, or landmarks around. Natalie was super helpful and offered necessary tips to find the exact local. I stumbled out in exhaustion and was greeted with a smile from, you guessed it, Natalie. She checked me in, gave me an extra hour to check out, thanked me for my Gold loyalty, gave me water, and sent me on my way. The room was clean, and huge with a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. I was so grateful for the hot tub that called to me following breakfast. Nice property.
This was a great "home away from home" place. Our oldest daughter flew in from Georgia and wanted a homemade meal from mom. I was able to give her one. The young kid's enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the spa. We slept in and missed breakfast but it smelled good ! We only stayed one night but the staff was friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Wonderful place to feel at home with a full kitchen and spacious area. Pull out sofa for extra bed. TV and DVD player. The staff will get grocieries for you if you leave a list for them. Nice pool and hot tub. Unfortunately we went on a weekend so did not get to experience the week night meals. Self serve filling breakfast with great choices, even rice. Clean, comfortable and quiet. We felt welcome and staff did all they could to ensure we were taken care of. We hope to visit again one day.
Had a great time skiing based out of Reno. Hotel and staff were excellent. Easy to get to ski rental shop and to the mountains. Northstar 45 min drie. Mount Rose 20 min. Bobo's ski shop excellent to get gear from Family had a great time on family vacation
The hotel was overrun with out of control noisy kids. They continued their noise until approx. midnight each night. There is major construction next door which starts at about 6:30 A.M. I wouldn't stay here again.
Excellent stay! Complimentary WiFi, breakfast, parking, and social hour (mon-fri)! Loved our room with a kitchenette and the indoor pool! The only issues we had were little and, hopefully, just one offs. Great hotel overall!
