Thiis is not your typical smoky old casino resort not to mention the location is excellent! The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a couple of issues during our stay; but you can tell that they were eager to resolve the issues quickly. I would choose this hotel again and very likely we will visit Reno again soon.

I really liked the casino and how it wasn’t too small or too big. We really enjoyed that Starbucks was open 24/7, just wish they would have had the Canelo boxing match on at the bar.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice the J was! It is recently updated with beautiful decor, and you can’t beat the location. At check-in, Donna was so amazingly pleasant. She chatted with me and my two sons attending UNR. The fitness center could be improved. The equipment is fine, but it is very, very small and there were no cleaning products available to wipe down the equipment. It isn’t a deal breaker. I will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel and casino. We stayed in Birch Tower. Room was large with a comfortable bed, two chairs and small table. Has a nice large shower. Also had a small fridge and coffee maker. We ate dinner at Hannah’s Table, excellent food and very reasonable prices. We will stay here again when in town.

Clean but Cold!
I think the improvement that have been made since refurbishing this old hotel that you've purchased are wonderful. But there are a couple of things that would make it even better… Where is your sign showing where check in is? After circling twice we took the door not marked casino and guess what? We walked all the way through the casino. Reception area is in a weird place. Bed was comfortable, would have been wonderful if it had real blankets on it. Two sheets and a thin “blanket” just wouldn’t cut it! Or warn your guests to bring there own. Our room was on 78 degrees and couldn’t keep it warm. Windows should be put on the list for future changes. Bathroom was clean, shower pressure was good. So overall its not a bad place to stay in the summer other times BYOB ( bring your own blank!
