My family and I were very pleased with the Tuscany tower suite we booked and the hotel overall. Very luxurious and all amenities were beyond provided. The staff was very easy going and attendant to all our needs. The pool area was really nice and relaxing. And steakhouse was amazing! Can't wait to come back and check out the spa. A definite hidden gem.

What a grand place, from the pool to the classy restaurants to the stylish room. And, yes this is Reno's best. We have stayed at all of the hotels and resorts in Reno and this is by far the nicest all around experience Reno has to offer. Granted, its 2.5 miles from downtown and all of the panhandlers and congestion, but who needs it when you want to relax after golf or gambling or go to a classy romantic restaurant all of which they have.

We always love the Peppermill! During this stay I left my Tiffany silver cross necklace in the bathroom. I placed a report and received a notification that the necklace was found and being sent to me! The rooms are always nice and the staff friendly!

Peppermill is so accommodating no matter how dusty you are they are happy to see you.

Close to major highways for trips to the lake. Everything you need is here and you are close enough to the rest of the Reno casinos & attractions. Buffet was good. Can't say enough about the pleasant, helpful staff. Nice pool set up.

We relaxed by the pool - I like the jacuzzi My husband likes the pool and he also used the gym twice we thought the Island buffet was ok only

Awesome, fabulous, close to activities, wonderful pool, clean, friendly, tech savey

One night mid-week stay. Check in easy, efficient and not too busy. Received an upgraded room - very clean, brand new appearance, great view of mountains. Restaurant food very good, plentiful and very good price (during certain times only); service attentive and timely. Casino had lots of big screens with beautiful scenes, many different gamin machines and locations to find either busy or quiet setting, attentive cocktail waitresses, several bars. Would strongly recommend!

Over the top Italian theme/decor. Still trying to figure it all out. I know I wasn't at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Otherwise a good stay.

Our North tower room was really small. We had a great view of a driveway and a wall. Some of our furniture was broken. The air conditioning was so loud, we had to turn it off overnight so we could sleep. Around 10:00pm when we went to bed, something started making a loud vibration sound up in a panel in the ceiling. It would vibrate for a short time about every 5-10 minutes. If it had done it earlier in the day, we would have requested a new room. The wifi barely worked in our room. We've seen great reviews of this hotel, but for us it didn't even come close to meeting our expectations. We will stay elsewhere in the future.

We were offered and booked a room with 2 beds, each of us wanted and paid for our own bed, and when we got there they gave us a king bed, said rooms with 2 beds were all taken. A roll away wouldn't even fit in the room they gave us. We wouldn't have booked there through Orbitz if a 2 bedroom were not offered. Very unhappy with both Peppermill and Orbitz.

even the smoke free room pumps the recirculated air from the same system as that of the casino floor so at night, very smoky air is blasted into the room and it totally stinks!

Very clean well run hotel that provides you with a Vegas feeling :)

We only stay at 2 hotels when in Reno, Peppermill or Atlantis. Once again Peppermill did not disappoint. We booked through Orbitz, however during check in they upgraded us for free from an outside north wing room to a tuscany suite! The room was very spacious and comfortable. We used the pool both days. Staff was great all around hotel/casino.

To begin, we were traveling to Reno for UNR graduation. We were traveling with my parents who have mobility issues. Our plane was late and when we got to the hotel there was no valet or bell staff available. My husband asked for help at least twice and waited, and waited, and waited. Asked for some help again, waited some more, no one every came. Asked for a cart, never got one. Ended up having to park the vehicle in the parking garage and make two trips with luggage to get our luggage and my parents luggage to the rooms. They did at least provide a wheelchair and pushed my mother to her room. Pretty sad start. The rooms, however, are very nice and very quiet which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. The next evening my husband and I returned to our room and were locked out, neither key worked. I returned downstairs where they told me that the room in which we were staying was only for one night and that we needed to move to another room in the other tower, none of this was mentioned when we checked in when it was confirmed that we were staying for four nights. Apparently this related back to a reservation that I needed to change, had changed and was butchered somewhere between Orbitz and the hotel. I cancelled the original reservation as directed by Orbitz and completely rebooked. The hotel ended up with an amalgam of the original reservation and the new reservation (not my problem). Coffee shop was stellar and very accommodating. Maid staff very helpful.

Should you have the opportunity to attend a conference in your field at this hotel, I would recommend attending. The location is handy for the free airport shuttle and the walk to downtown Reno is just right for a little exercise. There is a small lake nearby if you just feel like doing a short walk. If you like Sushi take advantage of the newly remodeled Oceans restaurant within the hotel, which has an all-you-can-eat lunch on week days at a great price. There is also a bus stop on each side of the street the hotel is on which provides easy access to downtown. The pool area is nicely done and usually gives you the option of sun or shade within its courtyard. It took me 18 minutes from shuttle departure to completing the security check at the airport using the 6:00 am shuttle on a Sunday.

After a pretty tough car ride up to Reno we had some trouble checking in. 4 months previously we had reserved a suite in the Tuscan tower. Our reservation clearly said 'dual king Tuscan suite'. When we arrived we were told that Orbitz had not communicated that info to them. After 15 minute of back and forth they suddenly found an open room for us. Here's what I think happened: We got a great deal on our room and Peppermill wanted to put us in a cheaper room with the hopes of getting full price for our reserved room. Left a bad taste and I'm not sure I'll stay here again. It's a shame because the rooms are nice and quiet. Call to confirm your room before check in.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room that i booked was clean and spacious. My room had a good sized jet tub next to the bed and 2 mini fridges. The staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel has a couple good restaurants and spa inside, and has great room service. There were also several restaurants in the area.

Everything was great .Only thing I wish was that they have some type of live music or a bar with more hip music

The registration people were great and upgraded me because it was the middle of the week in the off season. The restaurant people made me gluten free dinner and had a great cider. The bartender looked for a gluten free dessert for me all they had was fruit. Kind of disappointed there was none of those yummy looking chocolates I could eat but the fruit was a nice breakfast. I loved the bathtub
