Very clean well run hotel that provides you with a Vegas feeling :)

We only stay at 2 hotels when in Reno, Peppermill or Atlantis. Once again Peppermill did not disappoint. We booked through Orbitz, however during check in they upgraded us for free from an outside north wing room to a tuscany suite! The room was very spacious and comfortable. We used the pool both days. Staff was great all around hotel/casino.

To begin, we were traveling to Reno for UNR graduation. We were traveling with my parents who have mobility issues. Our plane was late and when we got to the hotel there was no valet or bell staff available. My husband asked for help at least twice and waited, and waited, and waited. Asked for some help again, waited some more, no one every came. Asked for a cart, never got one. Ended up having to park the vehicle in the parking garage and make two trips with luggage to get our luggage and my parents luggage to the rooms. They did at least provide a wheelchair and pushed my mother to her room. Pretty sad start. The rooms, however, are very nice and very quiet which allowed us to get a good night's sleep. The next evening my husband and I returned to our room and were locked out, neither key worked. I returned downstairs where they told me that the room in which we were staying was only for one night and that we needed to move to another room in the other tower, none of this was mentioned when we checked in when it was confirmed that we were staying for four nights. Apparently this related back to a reservation that I needed to change, had changed and was butchered somewhere between Orbitz and the hotel. I cancelled the original reservation as directed by Orbitz and completely rebooked. The hotel ended up with an amalgam of the original reservation and the new reservation (not my problem). Coffee shop was stellar and very accommodating. Maid staff very helpful.

Should you have the opportunity to attend a conference in your field at this hotel, I would recommend attending. The location is handy for the free airport shuttle and the walk to downtown Reno is just right for a little exercise. There is a small lake nearby if you just feel like doing a short walk. If you like Sushi take advantage of the newly remodeled Oceans restaurant within the hotel, which has an all-you-can-eat lunch on week days at a great price. There is also a bus stop on each side of the street the hotel is on which provides easy access to downtown. The pool area is nicely done and usually gives you the option of sun or shade within its courtyard. It took me 18 minutes from shuttle departure to completing the security check at the airport using the 6:00 am shuttle on a Sunday.

When we arrived we were told that Orbitz had not communicated that info to them. After 15 minute of back and forth they suddenly found an open room for us. Here's what I think happened: We got a great deal on our room and Peppermill wanted to put us in a cheaper room with the hopes of getting full price for our reserved room. Left a bad taste and I'm not sure I'll stay here again. It's a shame because the rooms are nice and quiet. Call to confirm your room before check in.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room that i booked was clean and spacious. My room had a good sized jet tub next to the bed and 2 mini fridges. The staff was very helpful and polite. The hotel has a couple good restaurants and spa inside, and has great room service. There were also several restaurants in the area.

The registration people were great and upgraded me because it was the middle of the week in the off season. The restaurant people made me gluten free dinner and had a great cider. The bartender looked for a gluten free dessert for me all they had was fruit. Kind of disappointed there was none of those yummy looking chocolates I could eat but the fruit was a nice breakfast. I loved the bathtub

We loved staying at thw Peppermill - it was the brightest and cleanest Casino in Reno. It was our favoritw place to play. The eating places are great too! I won 2 jackpots on my birthday while we were there! We will definitely go again!!

Central venting in lobby area needs to be better. Smoky smell all over the place.

As always, love visiting Reno even on a Monday, fun day as I look at it.. A day trip worth going even when the weather was a bit gloomy.. Upgrade room was a plus but wait time this time around wasn't a smiley face with the front desk ladies. Wasn't expected to wait for hours to check in.. Not a fun day to start a Monday... But still a Monday fun day for me!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the many different restaurants in the hotel.

One place I always go to is the Peppermill Resort.. Close to home and price of room doesn't brake the bank when I need my time off retreat.. Rooms are comfortable, centrally located and the one place I always stay..

We had a good time. Nice rooms, good food, friendly staff, great warm swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

In town for some family reasons and were just there for the one night. We usually stay at that "other" Casino down the street but their weekend prices were a little crazy for what we needed. We enjoyed our time, staff was friendly, room was comfortable. Will be back

Upon checking in, our requested room was not available. I booked a king bed room but apparently they where completely booked on that kind of room. I beleive what the front desk told me was that the room requested was not guaranteed and was only a 'only if available ' at time of check in. She did her thing on the computer and spoke to her manager and ended up getting us a upgraded king suite in the very nice Tuscany tower. The room was beautiful! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel and stay in the Tuscany tower..so worth it!

Our family always stay at the Peppermill when choosing a hotel. There's so much to do in one casino!

Wish the booze was cheaper for room service. But great restraunts .

WE LOVED OUR STAY. MY HUSBAND AND I STAYED FOR 2 NIGHTS AND WE LOVED OUR ROOM. FRIENDLY STAFF... LOVED THE DECOR IN ALL THE CASINO AND HOTEL..

I always stay at Peppermill Hotel but never had the chance to stay at the Tuscany Tower until now. Rooms were spacious and clean. Had the view of the mountains and Down Town. A must even for a day!!

best hotel in reno

We only stay at 2 hotels when in Reno, Peppermill or Atlantis. Once again Peppermill did not disappoint. quiet and comfortable

beautiful hotel

I had a great experience at this hotel. The room that i booked was clean and spacious. My room had a good sized jet tub next to the bed and 2 mini fridges. The staff was very helpful and polite. We loved staying at thw Peppermill - it was the brightest and cleanest Casino in Reno. It was our favoritw place to play. The eating places are great too! I won 2 jackpots on my birthday while we were there! We will definitely go again!!

Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your recent visit to Peppermill Reno! I'm sorry to hear of any frustration regarding air quality. One area we are putting a tremendous effort is the technology to filter the air throughout our property. We have been improving our air quality with new state of the art air handling systems and are continuing to improve daily as we add more air handlers and increase the speed at which our internal air is replenished. We have also added quite a large non-smoking slot area to go along with our spectacular smoke free poker room.
