I stayed at this motel recently and while the room itself was perfectly fine, the customer service was disappointing and well below expectations. When I arrived, the front desk attendant was on what appeared to be a personal phone call for nearly 10 minutes. He didn’t acknowledge me, didn’t pause the call, and didn’t apologize for the wait. He even took a work-related call before assisting me, which only added to the frustration.
The next morning, the poor communication continued. The front desk attendant waited roughly seven minutes before telling the shuttle driver I was waiting — something the driver confirmed. This delayed my departure and showed a clear lack of attention and professionalism.
None of this is about one person having a bad day; it reflects weak management and training. At minimum, guests should be greeted with a smile, acknowledged promptly, and provided basic courtesy. The room was fine, but the service left a lot to be desired
