I responded to a text about extending my stay at a discounted price. I then spoke to someone at the front desk and he quoted me on a price and told me to just come down and recheck in and pay the next morning before 11am. I went down the next morning and the lady who helped me said that the system was charging me 30 dollars more because the person who helped me didn’t add certain fees up. She also said that he left a note about the price he gave me. She told me that she just needed supervisor approval to give it to me. She sounded confident that she would approve it since that was the rate offered to me. Well “G” came over (G was the name they gave me) and told me that she couldn’t honor the price because there was no proof. I told her that the lady helping me told me that John left a note. She said “you know I can listen to the call between you two” and I was like “and?” And she said “are you sure he quoted you on that price?” I said “really? You’re gonna question me even with note there?” So she told me to wait on the side while she went to listen to call. I was embarrassed and felt like I got put on timeout. So after 5 minutes I told the lady at front desk I would be checking out. I told them it’s disappointing how they treated me over 30 dollars when I would waste that and a lot more at the casino. Lol 10 minutes after I left G called me and said she would honor the price. I told her I had already checked out. She acted like she could care less. Super disappointed!

Our room was clean. We saw the housekeeping staff several times in the hallway and they always greeted us and offered a smile. The casino itself was very festive and decorated beautifully for the holidays.

I would say the only thing I didn’t like was that there was no microwave to reheat your food up and that there were no extra blankets or comforters to stay warm because the heaters didn’t stay on in the room.

The expedia rep was not helpful. I double booked saturday and spent more money. Then when i checked in I had to pay extra just to keep the room i booked, so i wouldnt have to switch rooms for Saturday and was told id be down grading rooms. Overall, it was an unpleasant trip.
