Hampton Inn and Suites Reno

Everything was great but staff charged my wife almost $4.50 for two cup of noodles...ones you get for 2 for $1 @ local grocery.

The hampton inns are antiseptic, no personality whatsoever. no foliage, no flowers, cookie cutter beige decor. Rather industrial grim. Would not recommend them.

Clean and quiet. TV options very limited. Breakfast has improved over the last few visits. Good location for me.

Good, clean rooms for our stay. Breakfast is usual for the inns. Nice to have stores around for quick bites and water, snacks.

Quick overnight stay. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed and room, very friendly and helpful staff. A little difficult to find at night even with GPS. I will look for a Hampton hotel in the future when I travel.

Always clean with friendly staff and nice toiletrys comfybeds wth soft sheets wth a accomodating breakfast its always a sure bet

Staff was very helpful.Housekeeping was excellent.Location was excellent, close to our family members we were visiting.Very quiet.Very clean.Breakfast was delicious.

Excellent location in terms of finding the hotel from the freeway. Near shopping centers, movie theatre and lots of yummy restaurants (free breakfast should be free). Room was very nice and well appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Fitness room just had two treadmills and some weights. Pool room was hogged by the minor children of guests and so I was unable to utilize except for early morning or late night when they were asleep and then it was not too appetizing to go in the pool after they had been in it all day, so we just skipped it.

Excellent stay for all five couples. Staff very nice and the breakfast was great. Very quiet and centrally located soouth of town between two great cities of Carson and Reno.

the room was clean, beds totally comfortable and breakfast was awesome.

Hampton Inns rarely (if ever) disappoint which is why I continually seek them out. This property reaffirmed my belief that Hamptons rock! Clean, comfie rooms and way-comfortable beds. Location was awesome ... tucked away in an upscale office-park /residential area but close enuf to the airport. Altho a continental b-fast is served, we sought out the local fave "the Squeeze Inn" - great food, fun, funky atmosphere!

We have stayed at this hotel several times because of travel out of the Reno Airport. It is a nice hotel, however the pool is very small and the exercise room is almost nonexistent. It would be nice to have some weight machines in the exercise room. The internet is very slow, we have been unable to stream movies on our laptop using their highspeed internet. The beds are very comfortable and they have a nice breakfast. The hotel is nice and quiet. The staff is helpful too. The last time I stayed there they upgraded my room to a suite because someone had smoked in the non-smoking room initially given to us. Over all, we have been very pleased staying at this Hampton Inn.

We checked in around 3pm, walked up to our 'read' room, walked right in on an occupied room! My husband and I were shocked that the hotel would not know that their was someone in the room. We had to walk back down with all of our luggage and re-check in. All we received was a "sorry bout that". The pool was indoor, so our plans of spending some time in the summer sun by the pool were nixed. In the morning the maid service came in at 8AM- we were still sleeping and checking out that day. Not sure why they needed to come in that early. All in all, this was less than mediocre. Will not stay here again. Very, very disappointed.

The hotel was great - nice staff, clean, quiet, and an awesome breakfast in the morning. It was well worth the money, especially if you are just staying in Reno on the way to somewhere else. If you are looking for any nightlife, or interesting restaurants, you should probably stay closer to town. This is located in the middle of a "tech center" and you have to drive to any restaurants, all of which are chains.

The location was convenient for me. The reception was quite friendly but the hotel is dull dull dull. Lighting in the bathroom was not adequate. It was pretty cheap however so for one night it was ok.

great business hotel

We traveled to Reno for a family birthday party. The hotel location for us was great, in a quiet setting which we all felt safe in and which was easy to access from the airport. The room was large and clean (as was the whole hotel) and the staff was very friendly. I loved the cookies fresh from the oven in the evenings as well as having coffee always made if one did not want to make some in their room. I really enjoy staying at the Hampton chain and this one lived up to my expectations.

Attended Hot August nights and our stay was great, hotel staff were always courteous and attentive. The pillow top mattress was so comfy and relaxing. The breakfast was super with a healthy minded menu. We been attending HAN for the last 9 years in different hotels. Our stay at this hotel made it the best and most memorable of all. By the way, the rates were incredibly low.

We were in Reno for a wedding. The hotel was located near our friend's home and the wedding venue. When checking in the staff was able to accomodate some other friends so we could have adjoining rooms. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, from postponing housekeeping service to after we'd napped to calling a taxi for us when we had the midnight munchies and wanted to go out for breakfast. The pool is on the small side but long enough to swim laps and the hot tub is truly hot, none of the lukewarm water we've experienced in other places. Plenty of clean towels in the pool area too. Rooms are nicely done and the beds and pillows were almost as good as being home! If there was one small detail I could complain about it was that the television could have been clearer but we weren't there to watch it. Breakfast was quite good and we were impressed with a hot food offering which changed each of the four days we were there. Coffee available 24 hours was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast hostess did not make me feel rushed when I got there a few minutes before closing.

perfectly fine !
