This property in person is nothing like what is described or what the pictures show. The pictures are HEAVILY filtered, making everything look shiny, new and clean. In reality, this property needs some major updates and a deep clean. There are dents, dings, and flaws all over the walls. Planks are loose in one of the stair treads. The backyard is overgrown and looks like it hasn't been tended to in a couple of years. There are portable AC units in each bedroom, not shown in the listing pictures nor described in the property details. They are roaring loud if you choose to run them. The mattress is the master bedroom is probably the cheapest you can buy, feels like sleeping on a pull-out couch mattress - you can feel the springs. The tub is stained and the shower curtain is moldy. There was a sugar bowl left near the coffee maker, filled with sugar AND ants. I was utterly disgusted by the condition of this property. We tried contacting the owner for a refund so we could leave and find another place but they just kept responding with canned messages, stalling on a real response to us. We've filed a claim with VRBO.
