Courtyard by Marriott Miami Downtown

Daily room cleaning, close to downtown, great experience. Just be aware that if you have a rental car and need to park it there, it was $35/night - just so you're not surprised.

Folks! Miami is practically a spanish speaking city. Don't say I did not warn you.. While my short stay at this hotel was satisfying, I would have appreciated a more friendly staff. After all, this is the service industry and Miami being a well known tourist destination, I would expect that they be more open and receiving to other cultures and ethnicities. It really did leave a bad impression. However upon check-in, I got a free upgrade for which I was grateful so thank you again Courtyard Marriott. On another note, I found it very hard to communicate with most people.. From taxi drivers to sales clerks to waiters! They barely spoke a word of english which was a bit taxing. However, the entire experience (all else aside) was an enjoyable one. The city is beautiful!!! Shopping was nice, and being a little bit of a "foodie" myself I highly recommend 2 restaurants in particular, very near to the hotel called Ceviche Tours and The Clove Mediterranean. Not only was the staff super friendly and accommodating, but the food was fantastic!!! Also if you want to enjoy the view of the bay while you grab a bite and get in a little last minute shopping, Bayside Market is the place to go!

Good location if you have a short stay. Looks old. Bed is comfortable.

Great location near a CVS, and other little convenient stores, nice pool area, and just a 15 minute ride to Ocean drive!

Just an okay hotel. Definitely not what the pictures show at all. Great location. Right in the middle of downtown but a lot of traffic. 15 minutes from south beach and anything else. No room service. $22 a night to park. The hotel overcharged me twice. All in all your really just paying for the location. The hotel is average. Probably wouldn't stay here again. But the hotel staff is really friendly.

Very good location for me. Close to stores and the bay area to shop. I was able to jump right on to the highway. Parking was a little high for me but convenient as far as connected to the hotel. I plan on staying again very soon.

Stayed in this hotel pre-cruise. I twas our first time to Miami and the staff at the hotel made us feel welcome. Concierge told us about a terrific little Italian restaurant in walking distance. Room was clean, fresh. It close to a pharmacy so we could be products for the cruise. Highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel is very nice. It's not too far from the downtown central station, and it's very close from the Miami bayside. It was an excellent choice based on the value, the location and the amenities of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Close to my location downtown and close to food. Very convenient

It was ok for the deal i got but not microwave was a killer. And they have a room service button on the phone but when you call it the guy is rude and says there is no room service?

Good location. Can walk to county courthouse. Friendly staff. Quiet lobby with fish tank.

The hotel was good, easy to find.. there's a construction going on right next to the hotel, so it could get a bit noisy.

My visit was to join my daughter who was attending a conference. She came early and two days later I joined her in the same room. The hotel managed to understand how one reservation was ending and another one beginning (mine was at a lower room rate) and the staff ws very helpful with transportation information. My biggest disappointment was with a pool that was closed for renovations. Traveling to Flotida from Vermont, in May, I had packed for and eagerly anticipated some time lounging at the pool. I would have stated elsewhere if I had known. It didn't help that there was a huge construction project across the street from our side of the hotel with noisy work underway around the clock literally.

The hotel was perfect for the location we needed downtown Miami. We could walk everywhere and it was easy access to getting back to the airport when we left. We did rent a car and had to pay for spendy hotel parking, as it isn't included. It is downtown in the middle of traffic and we could hear the traffic in our room. Other than that it was a nice room and hotel.

This hotel was the perfect location for our needs, as we were able to walk everywhere. But if it wasn't so close to the reason we went to Miami it would have been the wrong choice. It is right in the heart of terrible traffic, which you could hear at times. The in room coffee was sub par and no tea bags available. It was a comfortable room and bed. Easy to get back to the airport as well.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. It was very clean and the staff was pretty friendly. Very convenient location.

This hotel needs to update their entire website, the pictures must have been taken many, many years ago because everything in our room and our families room look so old and used. We couldn't sleep in late because of the annoying construction noise going on, and why don't they advertise the pool being under construction and you have to use a nearby hotel's pool? Some of the excursions were discontinued, very limited menu in The Bistro.

Great location, absolutely cleaniness, friendly staff.

Great value for the dollars spent. Location hampered by major construction directly across the street. Restaurants and marina within walking distance. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Major plus for being a smoke-free hotel. Staff was friendly and responsive. They provided great info on places of interest and best routes/travel options. Hotel pool was closed for renovation.

This hotel is not luxurious, but they execute well to make it an easy and comfortable place to stay at a very good price.
