Beautiful hotel

We never checked in for our stay--I reached out to both Orbitz and the hotel on Wednesdsay, 10/25 to cancel my stay (understanding that it was outside of the cancelation policy). Orbitz reached out to the hotel to request that the cancelation fee be waived and never heard back. Our credit card was charged for the entire stay. My husband and I had both tested positive for Covid and unable to attend the Pink concert.

Beautiful property and very spacious.

Beautiful old hotel. Well maintained and enjoyable. The Drum Room makes a great Old Fashioned

Beautiful Property! I've stayed here a couple of times when attending an event in the area and usually love it. This time was a little different. A wad of Kleenex's was shoved into the Kleenex box. When pulled one out they all came out, nothing left but the ones all over the counter. Didn't want to use because someone else touched them. We stayed for breakfast $15 per person for the most terrible buffet we have ever had. Eggs were cold and hard. Bacon was also cold and hard. They really need to do something about the breakfast or don't charge for it.

Great place to stay will stay again

Very nice, classy hotel

The lady at the front desk could care less about her job or you staying there! We had to call the front desk while standing there to get her out of her office area.

Check in was 3, we arrived at 4 and our room was not ready. We had a 5 am start time and Starbucks wasn’t open room was clean. Staff was nice. But we were very rushed for our 5pm dinner plans

They charged me twice. Front desk staff very unprofessional

Great hotel in a great location. Close to lots of bars/restaurants. Close to college basketball hall of fame. Nice rooms and really nice lobby.

Great location, comfortable room. Very quiet. Check in was a bit of a fiasco.

We enjoyed the historic ambiance and hospitality of th staff

I was there to visit family and the location was great. We had beautiful weather so we walked every where.

Beautiful, historic hotel located right next to the power & light district. Lots to do and see within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time in KC and the location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted!

Disappointing Experience and Booking Confusion I recently stayed at the Hilton President with my family, expecting the usual Hilton standard. Sadly, I was left disappointed. There was a mix-up between the rooms for myself, my brother, and my cousin. My brother was allowed into my room without verifying his identity – a huge security concern! To make matters worse, upon arriving late from our delayed flight and to a late check-in, there was no room available for us because they had given our room to my brother. Leaving my 2-year-old and us nowhere to sleep. My brother ended up giving us his room and spent hours in the lobby until 2 am trying to resolve the issue, eventually paying out-of-pocket for another room just to sleep. This trip was marred by these issues, and I hope Hilton addresses them for future guests.
