We stayed here one night while passing through KC and found the hotel to be very nice. Hotel staff was very helpful and they have a shuttle to take you to local places that functions like your own private driver.

You can't make up for a bad product with good customer service. This hotel had very friendly, accommodating staff but the facility was terrible. The first thing we experienced when entering the lobby was the overwhelming smell of chlorine from the pool. It permeated the facility. Then we went to our room on the 11th floor and it had a powerful musty smell that never went away. Because of that we needed to leave the hvac system fan on but it was very loud. When we unpacked at home we realized that our clothes smelled like the room. Awful! In addition, we had to pay an extra $15/day to park our rented car in an outdoor lot. We thought Hilton took better care of their facilities. Very disappointing.

Came with multiple families and enjoyed our stay. The staff was very nice and had smiles on their faces. Hotel was clean and a nice place hang out.

We always stay here when visiting Kansas City. Noticed on this visit that the room looked just a little shabbier than we remembered. Odd that the bathroom was located inside the bedroom instead of inside the living room. We'd still stay here again. Very family-friendly.

We were in room 804 and it had a very musty, disagreeable odor when you first entered the room. it was most noticed in the living area not so much in the bedroom.

It started when we first arrived and you couldn't find our reservation we made through Orbitz. When we finally did get that taken care of it was told you would call us when the room was ready. Finally at 4:05 I called and only to find out noone knew if out room was ready or not. After about 10 minutes we were finally given notice our room was ready. When we got to our room which was 404 there was none of the snacks or beverages we were told came with the room. Also the AC was broken and the room was extremely hot. When I tried to call the desk the phone in the room was broken. I called the front desk from my phone, explained what was going on and the moved us to 1219. Still no snacks or refreshments which was in our original booking. After we get back from dinner the AC in that room was also running warm. We were to tired to go thru that again di just dealt it and went to bed. After all of this I go to check out only to find were charged the full amount for our room which I was told there would be an adjustment made since we didn't get the room we originally booked. Needless to say we were very disappointed. Update: After speaking with the hotel the next afternoon they refunded $75 of our fee which I do appreciate the effort to make it right.

We had a great time! The room was nice & big, loved that it had a little living area. We all enjoyed the hotel's heated pool & it was also nice that the hotel could shuttle us down to the Plaza & back, so once we arrived and parked we didn't have drive anymore. Will definitely be staying again.

We love staying at Embassy Suites hotels. The amenities, the open spaces, the free breakfast... Unfortunately this time we were very disappointed. From the get-go things didn't look good. The garage under the hotel was dingy and water ( hopefully not anything else) was slowly leaking from pipes overhead. The hotel has one bank of three elevators which is about half of what they need. The lower lobby in the garage us dingy and the rugs and floor were dirty. The atrium area is dark and over-run with fake plants. Unfortunately the breakfast area was also disappointing. The kitchen area was very dirty, especially at the omelet station. Our room was an ok size although the bathroom sink is in the bedroom because the bathroom is so small. The vents in the bedroom and living room were dirty as was the ceiling directly in front of them. The window out looked as though it had not been cleaned on the outside for a year. Good parts: bed was comfortable and the night manager who checked me in was polite and efficient.

Air Conditioning was not working properly, door lock malfunctioned numerous times, replaced but also failed. Stressed out my wife locked out of room(brides ring and marriage cert locked in room.) day of wedding. Maintenance did respond exceptionally well.

In KC for a few days...this hotel providing an excelled place to explore many of the local sites.

Great location between Plaza & Westport areas with free shuttle. Good breakfast & happy hour. helpful staff.

Really enjoyed our stay in KC for the weekend, The Embassy Suites was in a great location. The hotel was great, we enjoyed the breakfast and the bar was a very nice addition as well. I think the only thing I'd change if I could would be more elevators. It was a very busy place this last weekend and sometimes the elevators took awhile, Not world altering

great for a quick weekend away. wonderful location, we had a great stay, wonderful place to get away from it all.

Everyone was professional and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
