Disapponited that there was no happy hour or made to order omlets. Assuming because of covid

Pool was reservations only for a hour

Love the pool and sauna. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The rooms are nice. The staff failed to tell me they're covid-19 precautions, not when I made the reservation, not when I called to confirm my reservation, and not when we got to the property. We were not told that we had to make reservations to go down to the pool, until we went down to the pool. We were not told that the breakfast would just be the equivalent of a sack lunch, and we found out too late to make reservations at any local restaurants. The service was horrible.

Missed the great breakfast not being served. Although understandable with COVID.

Terrible place to stay. The staff are horrible! We asked for toilet paper to be brought to the room for 7 hours! We started at 1 and didn’t get it until 8pm and we had to go down and get it! The floors were so dirty that our feet were black! Terrible place to stay!

I’ve already written about the problem with the room. We went to the restaurant on Saturday night and it was a disaster. The lone barkeep took our order and we waited forever. When I asked for help a man swooped in to fetch our order. My Caesar salad with chicken strips was inedible—the chicken was tough as a hockey puck and the lettuce was drenched in dressing. My husband’s hamburger was overcooked and flavorless. To her credit, when I complained the barkeep apologized for the poor service and did not charge me anything. Some compensation for sure but not much for two hungry people with no other options. The breakfast service — custom omelettes made by Mercedes were the ONL6 bright spot.

Nice hotel at one time, so we came again to celebrate the new year.

Under staffed. Did not clean rooms. Bad breakfast.

The breakfast buffet makes the differences compared to other hotels.

My room was dirty. The bed was fine, but the microwave still had old food (bacon) in it. The bathroom had a spray bottle with cleaning liquid in it sitting on the loo. The room needed a thorough cleaning including the walls. I've stayed in worse though.

Overpriced room. Too crowded hotel. Breakfast offering is good but strain on staff due to being overcrowded who cannot keep up with stocking food. Too long to check in due to car congestion in front of entrance.

This property needs to be renovated. Pool is nice.

Location, location, location. A minutes walk from the Plaza.

My 19 mth old liked the fountain in the hotel and we mostly enjoyed the breakfast, but much was lacking in this hotel. Breakfast had old spoiled bananas!! Eww. The room wasnt ready at 4 for check in!! A not nice surprise $18 a day parking fee, they said bc you're in the city (you're not btw). Multiple associates, even at front desk, were incredibly RUDE!! Multiple restaurants within not to bad of a walk, but be ready to spot the dirty... sad to see soooo many homeless, not sure what help they have in this city, but laying on every park bench and all day?! No where to go without seeing the garbage bags left everywhere, parks department nonexistent?

My family has gone to this facility almost annually for over 30 years. we love the location and have had some wonderful times there. we have seen a general decline in the management over the years (seems there is lessening crispness, and the kitchen staff is overworked at the breakfasts) and this year the noise was horrible at night. both nights we were there there were disruptions in the common area and in adjacent rooms. calls to the front desk resulted in resolution the second night but it took an hour. I will be contacting the management to share my concerns.

The property was beautiful. There was so many kids running all over the place

Hi Molly! I am very sorry that our restaurant, bar and evening social are closed. We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen more services later this year. I hope you will consider giving us another chance the next time you are in Kansas City.
