Directly attached to Crown Center, connected by Link (indoor walkway) to Union Station, cable car stop right outside hotel for quick, free transport to Power and Light district.
The hotel staff was very attentive and very helpful, but the hallways needed to be vacuumed and the commons area needed to be cleaned from the over flow of bar drinkers. Also our room was very dated and the carpet needed to be replaced badly. Also everything in our room looked like it was from the 80s. - not in a retro-good look...more like a trashy porno.
The Hotel and conference room was in the same building along with places to eat and shop so it was great.
Met all of my expectations, although the desk in the room is showing its age.
Perfect Location ! Ask for room overlooking Hallmark. Merry Christmas. A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+ A+
This hotel housed my Alma Mater and other teams playing in the NCAA Division III men's soccer finals. The hotel did a great job with tournament events and in general. Staff were very nice and attentive. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. One of the doormen was a charming man who had been with the Harlem Globetrotters as a younger fellow. I had two very nice chats with him.
Came in for vacation to visit various sites. Great room, bed was comfortable with all the pillows and had all the amenities needed. Restaurant was fine, the servers were courteous and very friendly.
Fantastic stay. Great location, great room, close to popular attractions. Would definitely stay again.
very nice hotel. conveniently located, super friendly staff, clean room.
Very nice place to stay if you are in Kansas City. Close to attractions.
When checking in at 4 pm, we requested a king with view of downtown and was told all they had was a double and that we could check in in an hour. We were happy when we returned as they did give us what we originally asked for. Great room except for water pressure in sink.
They allowed us an early check-in. Room was perfect, bed super comfy *we're picky! Good location to everything we were looking for.
I have had two of my partners stay here twice. Both times I booked a King bed they did not get king beds.
Even though this was a business trip, this really turned into a little R&R!!!! Everything was fantastic!!!!
Was in town the weekend after Xmas. Needed a good central spot for restaraunts and bars. The Westin was perfect. Everything was clean considernig the holiday weekend. Cab took us everywhere we wanted to go downtime in minutes. Easy trip to Arrowhead the next morning. The Westin provided us everything we need.
Overall good stay, I was able to change due to last minute lay delays.
Simply, Great! Had a lot of fun and great time with my wife.
$16 self parking a night but no maps or people can tell you how to do it..$22 Valet and they actually stick there hand out for a tip! You have no choice you must use bell boy. $5.00 for a small bottle of apple juice.things close early get all your supplies before 7pm but if not prepair to pay the price if you forgot something at home! $16 for a cheesebuger that makes McDonalds look like the 4 star..what ever you do fill your bank account and bring lots of one dollar bills cause the people that work there actually stick there hands out for tips..yeah save a lot of money on here like i did but pay the diffrence when you get there..it is close to nothing..theres a mall thats suppose to be 80 acre? no more like a 1/4 acre the real mall is 17miles away..if you can get your car out of the valet..not a good choice for familys
The first night they spent 4 hours in my room fixing the bathroom lights. The second night I was awaken in the middle of the night by an alarm after I had been hearing what I thought was rain beating against the window. It turned out that a pipe had broken in my room and there was an inch of water on the floor. They moved me to another room promising that I would not have to pay for that night. The next room had a tv that did not work. That was fixed. The shower did not work properly so the water pressure was bad. I was unable to connect on the internet because the computer had me down in a totally different room besides the two that I had stayed in. When I went to get my bill. I was told that they could not take the one night off because I had pre-paid. Everyone was nice, but they were not able to get resolved. Still have not heard.
After an exciting football game between the Jayhawks and TCU, and a delicious seafood meal at Seasons 52 on the Plaza, we arrived at the Westin around 8:00 pm with an easy and quick check-in. Our room was very clean and near an ice machine for a nightcap. In the morning, there was a tremendous buzzing of people in the restaurant and lobby due to the upcoming Chiefs vs. Seahawks game at noon. The staff was very helpful in overcoming the crowd in the restaurant and the breakfast buffet was perfect. A great weekend!
