I was at the hotel for a motorcycle rally. The hotel was excellent, clean, and the staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating to all the guests....sometimes bikers get stereotyped and stigmatized...but we were not in this case....the hotel was very respectful and always willing to assist in ...
First, the lobby is beautiful, staff is excellent, and the rooms are clean. We had a birthday party here (so we dealt with I a lot of staff and every single one was outstanding - especially Teresa, the party coordinator) Anyways, we ordered pizza for the party and it very good! The room was nice ...
This hotel has everything you need for a great stay. The staff is welcoming and extremely helpful. The location is perfect-close enough to the freeway and airport to make it convenient, but not so close that it affects the quality of your stay. There is a wonderful shopping mall nearby and plenty ...
Stayed for 2 nights had to book an extra night as I was originally booked for one night, the staffs were very helpful and catered to all my needs ensuring I was comfortable. The shuttle bus from and to the airport is very helpful, I would greatly recommend this hotel to anyone. Really had no issues ...
The hotel staff were kind, friendly and accommodating, from shuttling me back and forth to Zona Rosa mall in frigid weather, to allowing me to receive online orders as I live outside the USA at this time. The hotel room was very clean, especially for being a dog friendly hotel.
We stayed for one night and the room was clean & comfortable. We picked this note because it was convenient & they allow pets for a resonable fee.
I was in the Kansas City area for an NFL game between the KC Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills and my choice was between renting a car and staying in a hotel near the suburban stadium or staying downtown and relying on public transportation. I'm happy that I chose the latter and that I chose the Aladdin for accommodation. The trolley provided transportation from the train station to 2 blocks from the hotel and a city bus with a stop 4 blocks from the hotel provided round trip transport to the stadium for 3 dollars. The hotel was in a beautiful, old historically significant building. The room was clean & comfortable and the staff was magnificent. Also, the restaurant food was delicious and reasonably priced and available for room service, if desired
We just wanted a quick getaway and really liked the room 506, beautiful and comfortable
Convenient for early departure and late arrival at MCI.
Sitting right on the border of Missouri and Kansas, Kansas City is a metropolitan hub of culture, entertainment and American history. Music fans come to celebrate local style that evolved from famous jazz artists like Count Basie and Pete Johnson. George Kessler, a famous architect heavily involved with the City of Beautiful movement during the early 1900s, spent much of his life designing the outstanding buildings found throughout Kansas City. The delicious food and captivating music will bring you in, but the beauty of the city invites you to stay.
During the month of February, homeowners from all over come to immerse themselves in landscape and house décor, and leave with inspiration for their own homes. The convention attracts leading floral designers who create elaborate displays, and the best home and interior designers share and compare their latest ideas.
Started over 20 years ago, the Brookside Art Annual is a thriving contribution to the many festivals that call Kansas City home. Previously known as Rhythm and Ribs, the Vine Jazz and Blues Festival was renamed to associate historical significance with the city. A town that made huge contributions to the rise of jazz in the 1920s, Kansas City celebrates its heritage every year in the fall. True to the event's roots, the culture of Midwestern cuisine is cheered alongside the music festival. Visiting during the Vine Jazz and Blues Festival is a great way to get an authentic overview of the culture Kansas City thrives on.
Kansas City sees a wide range of temperatures, with some extremes on both sides. Even during the winter, the temperatures fluctuate between freezing and mild, sometimes seeing temperatures of -1 degree Fahrenheit. The city even gets snowfall a few times a year.
Summers are hot and humid, which can be uncomfortable for those who aren't used to hotter climates. If you visit during this time, be sure to keep hydrated. Temperatures in July stay above 90 degrees. These extreme temperatures during summer and winter make visiting during spring and fall best for enjoying Kansas City.
The area has its own international airport (MCI), which provides shuttle services to many downtown Kansas City hotels. Another transportation method, one that proves to be an adventure on its own, is the Amtrak trains. They make daily runs to and from St. Louis and then to Chicago, connecting three historically great cities if you're on a longer trip. Alternatively, buses are also available from surrounding cities.
Kansas City hotels have a favorable price range year-round, and if you book far enough in advance, you can always find deals for the best areas, like the highly rated hotels downtown. The cost of rooms often depends on advance booking, so planning ahead will help you save money. A hotel with a fair amount of amenities will run you just north of $100 a night. Plan to spend more on hotel rates and parking if festivals, holidays or other events are going on during your time of travel.
