I like to stay outside city limits and Argosy allowed that. Within easy access to roads and highways, it provided a view of downtown K.C. without the confinement of living in a city. My eighth floor room also allowed me to see the mighty Missouri River, as it flowed by. Nice Staff, eager to help with directions and recommendations.

We had a great experience from check in to check out. Several restaurants to choose from, casino was small but nice, and our room was pretty close to perfect.

Great hotel for a stop over but beware several of the restaurants are closed on Mondays (and I think Tuesdays). We weren't able to book a spa treatment as they were fully booked so recommend pre booking (which I didn't!) Staff were very helpful.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. The standard rooms are spacious (larger than most hotels' standard rooms). The showers are great. They have those overhead waterfall shower heads and the standard shower heads in a large walk-in shower. The bathrooms are larger when compared to other hotels' standard rooms. The have 4 onsite restaurants (some have limited hours). I find it an easy drive to downtown KC even during rush hour.

Love going to the Argosy. It is one of the nicest hotels in Kansas City! Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Lots of people WINNING down on the casino floor!

The hotel was in a good location. The rooms were spacious and clean. But the TV didn't receive the major broadcast networks, so that was a problem.

it was ok for our needs not interested in the casino coffee was not good at the coffee shop food services could have been more offerings

No pool, no continental breakfast, no microwave, old pillows, only one door to get into the hotel.

Nice hotel. First time at a casino hotel. I booked in advance and at checkin I was asked for my credit card and I.D. at the sametime. I thought he was verifying who I was and that the credit card matched my reservation info. I didn't find out until later that it was for a security deposit. Nice surprise. I've stayed at other hotels that were $100/night or more and was never asked for my credit card or a security deposit.

Poor air circulation leads to smell of smoke everywhere, even in non-smoking rooms. Several vending machines sold out or not working. Difficult to reach when traveling north toward Kansas City.

Loved this hotel! Very close to the airport. We did donate to the casino but had a great time!

Overall it was a nice hotel. The only real problem we had was with the hot water. In the morning there was no hot water, the hot water would not even trickle out.

The hotel was beautiful and the front desk staff and housekeepers were very nice!

Great clean room with nice bed and super shower

The only issue I had was that while eating in the restaurant they refused to heat up some food my girl needed to eat for a special diet she was on.

Enjoyed my stay and the casino at night, the staff was very pleasant and the rooms were nice

Staff is accommodating and professional. Bed is comfortable, and room is large. The food in both restaurants outside the casino floor has much room for improvement.

excellent place to spend a night away from kids!

spacious room but bad tv
