Very nice hotel

This property was great! One of the nicest hotels we've stayed in recently. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. Breakfast had a lot of options, the lobby and bar were nice and there was a great walking path just outside the hotel to get out and exercise and explore the area. It felt like a very safe area with shopping and restaurants nearby.

This property is located next to a lake with a beautiful and convenient walking trail. The room was spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed the stay although we couldn’t check in Fri at normal time had to wait til after football game. Room had a smell to it like body order as it’s been closed up and not smelled nice. The other room I had was good except the water in the shower took over 5 mins to heat up and drained slowly.

The entrance to the hotel needs to be power washed and deep cleaned. It’s dirty with cigarette butts lying all around. Not a good first impression. Our room was not very clean. The refrigerator was dirty inside with hair in it for some reason. The bathroom sink was stopped up and wouldn’t drain. They are definitely not up to the Stoney Creek standards we’ve experienced at their Broken Arrow location. The grounds are nice with a walking trail around it. We would think twice before staying here again.

Great Hotel

Great hotel. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The rooms were large and very clean. Breakfast was a nice variety and delicious. The only criticism is the hotel seemed to be somewhat neglected. Some new carpet and fresh paint could do wonders. We make several trips a year to Independence. We've stayed in many hotels in the area and this will now be our place to stay when we are in town. The price was in line with similar hotels, but this hotel is just better in many ways.

Breakfast was good and beds were comfortable. I had a whirlpool suite and it was very humid and damp smelling upon arrival . Also right by the stairs to the pool so very loud in the early hours. Location is very nice , located in a plaza .

I was taking a boat to Minnesota for a tournament and stayed here for the night. Its a nice hotel. The area has a beautiful lake and walking trail. Its also next door to the Bass Pro Shop thats in walking distance. There was also plenty of parking for my truck and boat.
