Our room was not assigned correctly. Someone else was occupying our room. This was corrected promptly.

Breakfast is pretty goo. Made to order foods. Does not come with all reservations additional cost of $8pp

Didn’t have my room and downgraded me from room I paid for, didn’t seem to care at all.

Although my room was not ready when I arrived at the 3pm check in time, the staff was very friendly and quickly cleaned the room to guarantee I could set my stuff inside.

Nice hotel and location for the stadiums etc. our only issue was we checked in at 5:00 on Friday and no King rooms were ready. The man assisting me was great. We also talked about 2 different reservations (added Friday night) making sure we could have the same room for Sat-it was “no problem”. Sat morning we left our room for breakfast and couldn’t get back in our room. We were told we were due to check out. I had my confirmation from Orbitz - and it didn’t matter. I called Orbitz and they took it from there. Thank goodness for the professionalism of Orbitz or we may have not had a room in a sold out hotel due to the Kenny Chesney concert. Wasn’t impressed with the front desk at that point. Felt as though we could have been compensated with a discount ted room or something?

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. One of our rooms was missing a shower curtain. Both rooms AC had problems and didn’t work well. I’ve always like Hilton Garden Inn after they had their makeovers years ago. However, this particular one is in need of updates galore. The rooms were def not worth $150/night. Bed was lumpy. Room was dusty and the bathtub showers were poor in pressure and the tub wasn’t well maintained. It took the water a good 30 mins to drain. The room needed repainting and a good cleaning. The breakfast was lack luster in its setup. I was not unhappy with the service so this review isn’t vendicitve.

The lobby and hallways smelled like sewage. We stayed two nights and there was no service of our room, no new towels etc. It is nice the workout room and pool are adacent so I could workout and monitor my kids swimming, but it was 80 degrees in the workout room. This is basically a motel 6, that's it. Not sure why they charge as if they are a decent hotel because it is not.

2nd time to stay at this hotel and it still is a good place to stay

Even though it is "Hilton" was very disappointed in the room presentation, the beds sunk in the middle, the phones did not work to the front desk(almost like it was for display ONLY), the hot water heater even went out on everyone in the hotel! Not a good look! Would definitely NOT recommend.

Staff were absolutely welcoming and kind to my wife and kids. Every time we passed the front desk, the ladies were asking what they could do to make our day better. Not a great facility, but Excellent front desk employees

On the first floor they had a sewage breakage and the whole first floor just stunk. It lasted our whole stay probably because it was over a weekend. Our room was not made up so I had to call the front desk get somebody up there at 5:30 p.m. to make up our room. The room was clean staff were very friendly. I did have to turn the TV up everytime the air conditioner came on.

even though the hotel lobby was under construction, I found the premises to be very clean and was comfortable in my room. It was nice to have several restaurants so close.

I chose the Hilton Gardens over some less costly rooms in the area. I was supposed to have a King room close to the pool and hot tub and work out center. I called the hotel after booking that this was possible. WHAT THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT WAS EVERYTHING WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION SHEET ROCK DUST EVERY WHERE (I AM STILL RECOVERING FROM RESPIRATORY ISSUES) THE POOL AND HOT TUB WERE CLOSED. THE $15 BREAKFAST WAS SERVED IN THE MIDDLE OF A AREA UNDER CONSTRUCTION. PARKING WAS HORRIBLE AS THEY WERE HOSTING A BUNCH OF TEENAGE GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT IN ADDITION TO ALL THE CONEX CONTAINERS. HAD I KNOWN ANY OF THIS I WOULD NOT HAVE STAYED THERE OR AT-LEAST EXPECTED A DISCOUNT ON MY STAY!

Don't rent out rooms that are under construction or the neighboring room is under construction. Maid staff literally screaming to each other down the halls over the construction noise...

For the money it was a good stay. The rooms were clean and the suite was a good price for the space and comfort. The housekeeping staff wasn't friendly and was a bit slow on the morning/day shift. But the night staff was on point if we needed extra pillows or bedding. Clean and great location in Independence, MO.

For me, the Hilton name has always been one of quality. Unfortunately, this property did not live up to my usual experience. Upon entering the lobby, to see it crowded with people loitering and consuming a variety of alcoholic beverages made it look like a cheap Spring break hotel. The service was adequate but not welcoming. The elevators were painfully slow. The room was adequate but not well maintained. The bathroom was not ventilated as proven by the poorly patched and moldy ceiling. I would definitely not stay again, nor recommend it.
