The room was moldy smelling so they gave me another room...only someone was already in it! Our car was being looked into by several young men, the front desk person lied about having security cameras, said he was the maintenance man, etc etc

The bed was nice. Down comforter, featherish pillows. Bathroom was small but had been updated. The hotel itself was older and you could see paint over paint, etc. Indoor pool and hot tub was nasty. Tv was older and small. If you are camping out in the hotel, I don't recommend it but looking for a good bed and bath, it works just fine.

The room door did not open properly had the push it really hard to open and close the guide to the TV didn't match the phone didn't have ant information on it so had to guess at what number to push for front desk thought we booked a nonsmoking room and got a smoking room not good for someone with asthma but went the store and bought some air freshener and room deodorizer helped a little

I am alway bery nervous about hotels because you never know what your getting into. But i was relieved when we chevked in here. Everything was clean, staff was friendly when i called before booking and at check in. It was right off the hwy on our trip so, very convenient. I liked that there was free HOT breakfast included not just continental. My girls enjoyed making thier own waffles, they had a nice variety. My only tiny issue was that the pool room was a little musty smelling but I imagine that is hard to not have happen with an indoor pool. The pool was clean. Over all i was impressed and very confortable here. We were so impressed we picked this hotel brand for our next stay and we were equally impressed

Had a very comfortable & affordable experience at the Quality Inn & Suites Independence Missouri!!

We are non-smokers who were assigned to a smoking room by mistake (not sure whether we failed to hit the right button or the third-party vendor put us there). The desk clerk tried to help us, but all the non-smoking rooms were booked. The old smoke smell in the room assigned was bad; we sprayed the can of smoke eliminator given us by the clerk and that was worse than the smoke smell. After trying three other rooms, we found one with less smoke smell that we could stay in without feeling sick. The room had burn holes in the blankets and torn furniture, but the bed was actually pretty comfortable. Otherwise the room was clean, but basic. For an overnight stay at a cheap price, it was adequate. I am grateful to the desk clerk for trying to help us. The breakfast was good, with lots of variety and the staff friendly. If someone would invent a way to get rid of old stale smells in rooms and hallways, this would have earned a third star. But for anyone sensitive to smells, this was not great.

At a glance the room was average, got a smoking room though I didn't want one. I was placed at the very back of the building. I waited 15 min to check in because the staff was in the other room playing around. Burn marks all over the bathroom sink. Room smelled like a big ash tray. I didn't even stay the whole night, ended up leaving by 11pm

Just needed a place to stay the night before a Royals game. Clean room, pretty good bed. A little noisy from outside. Breakfast in the morning not overly special. Served its purpose for one night lodging.

Only there six hours to sleep. Fine for that time. Room clean, bed clean. Took smoking room, there were cigarette burns in bedspread (large ones), But room did not STINK like smoking room, that was nice. Bathroom TINY, too TINY. But it did what it needed to do, provide clean place to sleep. That's all I asked for.

The hotel in Red Lodge was in poor condition. Would not recommend. The Fort Collins hotel was okay, but had a very small bathroom. The Kansas City hotel was old and not kept up. Again, the hotel was not maintained. The hotels that needed to be updated and taken care of were owned by foreign Indian's (not Native Americans). Very hard to understand and communicate with. I found it intersting that when I called [...] that I spoke to someone in India and that we were directed to hotels owned by Indians. I will not use [...] again. The hotels I booked on my own were much better in all ways.

I expected this hotel / motel to be a major let down, but too my surprise it was WONDERFUL. Great location, staff and facilities. Plus, there were no shortage of eateries and stores nearby. We even found a wonderful doggy park just a mile up the street. The place was quiet and safe.

staff on check in was fine, check out was very confused. room was a bit noisy, but large.

Hotel staff was super friendly. It was a shame that the pool wasn't completed, so a let down there. They assured us the pool will be completed this time next year. We will not be letting this effect our thoughts on this hotel. Love that it is only 3 miles for Arrowhead stadium. We were in room 106. The only real issue I personally had was with amount of street lights on the road running along our room. Even with the curtian closed the lights still illuminated our room.

We met here because of its proximity to Kansas City. We were delighted to be only 10 miles from the wonderful Nelson Art Museum.

Thre room was ok, but needed some maintance and cleaning. There was a hole in the carpet and one wall outlest was hanging out of the wall. The phone was not very clean.
