This is a safe and convenient option when visiting Kansas City. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It includes a small gym and pool, and lots of options for the breakfast that's included with your stay. My only concern was the cleanliness of the suite itself...lots of debris all over the floor in both the room and bathroom.

The bathroom smelled like mildew. I asked for another room and that room was just as bad. There was no maid service available so I cleaned it myself with the properties cleaning supplies. The front desk said they would try to discount my room. I never got any credit for my troubles.

The young man at check-in was extremely pleasant as was the older gentleman cleaning up the breakfast area as we checked out! This Is the only positives I have to say about the property itself. We had called ahead of time to make sure the pool was up and running because we were going to have our grandkids with us right before school started. The pool was so cold that we could not get in it. The hot tub was emptied, but not covered or blocked off in any way. We also had mentioned that my husband has COPD and is very allergic to dogs and we could not have a room near any animals. It was after we arrived that they mentioned that all of their rooms are.” animal, friendly.” but they clean in between stays. This was severely lacking. I have pictures. There was white fur all over the stained couch and popcorn,wrappers There was a stain on the bedding and the phone is still sitting in both rooms, but did not work. The first room did have an animal smell to it. The young man behind the front desk was able to move us across the hall a dog had not stayed for a length of time… The room is better but again another piece of popcorn! Have a one and a half year-old grandchild if he found that he could have choked. There were still a few hairs (tub too) but it smelled much cleaner. For the price I knew it would need to be updated. I just need clean and no animals… They definitely withheld the truth with the hot tub being down and animals being allowed in all room rooms.
