You have to stay here. Hotel, the rooftop bar, the events they held. All amazing and made for an outstanding experience
Very nice place and friendly staff.
I really enjoyed the interesting artwork and fixtures.
Very nice art themed hotel
Stayed one night in a blue room. 719. Property overall was great. So convenient for the Fox Theatre. Cleanliness is a different story. The bed sheet had a dozen or more stains (of all colors). Same with the pillow cases. The bath towels were frayed and unravelling. Found trash behind the couch. Toilet paper roll should have been changed. It only had a couple of squares left. Had the strong urge to shower as soon as we got home.
Thank you very much for changing my room.
The hotel is in a very bad and dangerous area. Nothing to eat nearby. Rooms are tiny and noise. Terrible decor. Will not stay here again
We had a disappointing experience in January 2022, and recently gave the hotel a second chance. Unfortunately, it was worse than the first time. We wanted to book a room with the clawfoot tub, but it wasn't clear on Orbitz which rooms had them. I emailed the hotel to ask for one on Saturday night, but they never responded. The restaurant quality had gone way down, and it closed earlier than posted. The rooftop bar had also done down - e.g., cheap plastic glasses. Our room was randomly serviced over our 4 day stay (e.g., coffee wasn't replaced, wastebasket not emptied). Worst of all was Easter Sunday. The service at the church we were visiting ran late. When we got out we called for a late checkout so we could have brunch with our son, who we were visiting. Erin curtly told us that if we checked out later than 1pm we'd be charged. We will never go back. While some staff were very nice and trying hard, the overall management of this hotel very clearly needs to substantially improve.
I thought this property was great and I really liked the unique room decor. I was disappointed in the amount of dust in the room on all surfaces as well as on the floor of the room.
Filled with remarkable local art of high quality. truly a feast for the eyes. Close to St Louis Symphony and Fox Theatre -- easy walk. Excellent food and beverage choices at the hotel. Truly unique color-schemed rooms and entire property is unusual and provocative -- in a GOOD way!
Unique decorations and feel, very quiet and excellent security.
Dirty room made me feel icky. Broken air conditioner made loud noises. I asked for a room change. They offered to have maintenance fix it. The second night was the same. I’m exhausted. I’m at a different hotel tonight. On the good side, the 12th floor lobby and top floor bar were cool.
The hotel was pretty awesome with the design and layout. Rooms were small and quaint. The couch under the umbrella in the lobby was the coolest thing ever. Only complaint is the rooftop bar had a private party and was supposed to open to everyone at 8pm, when we went up about 10:30 pm it was closed and the staff would not even let us see the view. This was very disappointing as it was to be a highlight of the hotel and our night!
Has potential but fell short. The staff, location, and views were amazing which is what saved the stay. We had breakfast at Commenwealth, the cappuccino machine was broken and they were out of most foods, and the eggs that came out had whites that were runny. We gave it a second shot by having snacks at the arts bar, shrimp tacos were mostly onions very little shrimp and the bread on the cheese board was stale. Also our first night stay there was a party happening and the whole hotel reeked of marijuana. The hotel is beautiful, but would I stay again, that’s a hard no.
I like the art in this hotel.
Fun hotel with a nice cafe and rooftop bar. Rooms were clean and roomy, especially appreciated the desk in the room and all the unique touches. Bathroom was spacious and clean with nice soaps and shampoos. Would definitely stay here again.
The hotel was really neat. Very artistic inspired vibe. Great quite lil spot away from the madness, but still relatively close to most tourists attractions…

Thank you for your review Thomas. Upon receiving the request for a tub room, we contacted you back immediately via your email regarding the upgrade and color preference and never received a response. We do understand your frustrations regarding the late checkout however that is our typical policy but an exception could have been made and for that we are sorry.
