We were checked in and hanging out in our room when other guests entered our room. Apparently they checked these guests into our room. An absolute safety issue. The staff’s initial response was to call it a “misunderstanding” and tried to imply it was on us. They back tracked and finally apologized and said they would give us new keys.

The staff was great, very friendly. Our room had hair left in the tub and around the toilet, which as a bit gross. We were close to shopping, food, & tons of entertainment. The KC Streetcar was close, so we could get downtown easily.

This place was not an enjoyable stay. Half the elevators were down. We had the thermostat set at 60° and the temp was cooler outside than in the room. We had broken electrical outlets that were unsafe and lights would go on and off by themselves water pressure in the shower was low. The food in the eateries was outrageous on top of that. The only thing that was convenient o bout the place is they had room for our organization to have meetings.

Lovely Hotel

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago for our wedding night and again for anniversary. They are so kind and generous to offer us an upgrade for the occasion. The room service was delicious and the room was impeccable. Love this hotel!

We got a suite for the night gor the 4 of us, there was 1 blanket. Went to the service counter and they said they were out. Bedroom window was broken and would not close. Bedroom shade was also broken and would only go halfway down. For as much money as we spent for the night the room should have been immaculate and there should have been enough blankets for us and the kids, especially since I booked ahead. Other than those couple of things the suite was nice and clean and staff was friendly.

Very unpleasant stay

The room wasn't clean. There was hair stuck all over the shower. It was hard to get a good picture of it. There was also hair inside the sink. Also, there was a stain in the carpet and on the lounger that looked like blood. The lounger was stained all around it in other areas, too. My spouse came 2 days later, and I had given the front desk his name. When he went down to get coffee, he stopped at the desk to get another card. (He didn't realize he didn't have his ID.) They asked for his ID, and due to his not having it, they called security on him and followed him to his room like a criminal. Then they never issued him an ID after they verified it was him. I was standing there, and they never apologized or asked me anything. Several times, we had to ask the desk for things, and they were so rude. The hotel was empty almost every day of my 7 days until Friday and Saturday, so you would think customer service would be important to keep people happy and bring in more clients.
