Overall we had a comfortable stay. I like the room was big, cleaned and beds/pillows so comfy. One thing they need to improve is the cleanliness of the hallway leading to the rooms, the rug smelled funky and dirty maybe just that floor where we stayed that time.

We reserved a double room 2 months in advance. When we checked in we were not told our room for 3 was changed to a king & sofa bed. I called the front. They were very rude. Informed me they’d oversold & no doubles available. Then found an ADA double on the 4th floor. When I got to the front they said that room wasn’t available. Very condescending. Informed me since I booked with a 3rd party I wasn’t guaranteed anything. And he said he did me a favor & gave me a sofa bed- which looked 20yrs old. I had to cart my belongings upstairs again. The faucet was loose & moved when turned on. The shower door handle was broken. There was trash under the sink on arrival. At 9am housekeeping came to clean the room and asked why we hadn’t checked out. No manager available upon check in nor check out. The manager was to call me back & 36 hours later no call.

It was a wonderful place to stay at! The hotel was very clean and neat. The one think was the construction going on was an inconvenience but it wasn't bad! The staff was amazing! I definitely will be staying there again the next time we go to Kansas City!
