Not a good location. Limited dining in hotel and surrounding neighborhood. Room had very little soundproofing. Could hear swearing from next door room.
The bar and seating area is nice. Our room was large and a large walk-in shower. I've stayed here a few times over the last few years. The property is still nice but it looks like guests have been hard on it (glass missing on some elevator doors, places dirty where most people don't come in contact with, for example: outside shower door in room was dirty but no water hits that area) Which is a bummer for future guests. Good value.
Parking lot is a mess. Designed for 1960. Spaces are minuscule and they charge $21 a night. We heard barking dogs on our floor. Wear and tear is apparent everywhere. Unless you pay $28 you must self park and then carry your luggage to garage elevator and then move to hotel room elevator. Extra $10 if you want WiFi. Ridiculous extras including parking and WiFi. Stay in Overland Park, much cheaper.
This prooerty is a 5 minute walk to the plaza. Ate out everday. So short we walked in the rain. We will return for the art museums, also jumps away.
good clean area, clean hotel and good customer service
Clean! Would stay again! Great location rooms were cozy
The property was beautifully located very friendly staff
The water did not work in the shower. Was not happy the room was not switched before or upon our arrival. Staff was aware there was a work order for the shower and the room was still rented out. Being a past hotel manager myself, I would have never rented a room that was not 100% suitable for my guest.
This is a very nice hotel, easily accessible and in a good area. My room was comfortable and very clean. The only negative for me was paying $25 for onsite parking.
The price was a little high considering you dont get a complimentary breakfast and we were not told ahead of time that parking wasn't free. I wouls not have stayed there if I knew I had to pay to park overnight.
Nothing unique but the property was accommodating and the staff was friendly
The staff was very helpful. The shuttle was a god send because it rained. Close to Country Club Plaza.
