We got a good deal on it so it was definitely worth every penny. Nice hotel, nice rooms. Everything is 5 star. One thing I didn't like is that they charge $11 or something like that for parking. There is a big parking space, not sure if it's there's or not, but seems like they charge for it because they can. What other option do you have? So you will pay. Never stayed where you have to pay for parking. What is next, charge for water? For elevator? For ac/ heater?

The staff at check never greeted me, never smiled, didn’t offer a lot of information unless I forced the answer with a question. We called for towels for the pool for over an hour and finally sent someone for our party to get some. We asked for extra blankets and it was too late for the night staff to care who by the way was more worried about her water to speak to me. The air conditioner did not work property and when booked through Expedia it noted breakfast included but it most certainly was not. Too far away for doing anything in KC with the service we received. The only thing neat or note worthy was the pool and it was clean.

Slow deterioration…
Generally, this is a decent place to grab a room when needed, but it seems like the rooms are getting run down and cleanliness is deteriorating. For example, on my floor there was a 1.5-2” gap between the bottom of the door and floor…as if carpet or molding was pulled up and never replaced. Noise and light from the hall was awful. Plus there was an undergarment under the bed from a previous guest that I found when I went looking for a shoe.
