First the positive points: Clean room and very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. Large TV that offered movies, etc. Free internet. Can't beat the proximity to the airport. Restaurant food was decent and friendly staff. I unfortunately have to say that there were several negative things for the size of this hotel. There is only ONE small restaurant with quite a limited menu. That is not so bad and the food is decent, but it is only open for lunch and dinner. The breakfast situation is awful. It's a tiny corner in the lobby with a walk up counter. There is usually a long line and one woman working, doing everything from coffee making to cooking the breakfast sandwiches. I feel that most people enjoy sitting at a table and relaxing for breakfast. A hotel this size would benefit greatly by having a sit down breakfast service. In addition, there is only the lobby to sit down and eat. It just is not comfortable, let alone messy trying to eat over a coffee table. Another thing that I did not know (my own fault) is that the Airport Hilton is approx. 20 miles from the center of Kansas City. There is not much to do here at all unless you go to the nearest shopping center, Zona Rosa which is 10-15 min. drive. I was disappointed when finding out on my last day there that there is a free shuttle going most of the way into the city buy no one offers you that info. No pamphlets about the hotel offerings are given to you when checking in. Sorry Hilton, step up.

I checked in late, one of the staff members held my place in line while I ordered a snack from the hotel's restaurant that was closing . Great service!

Very nice property. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Jaylynn at check-in was fabulous. Derek at the restaurant was top notch as well.

If you're going to charge for parking, maintain your parking lot. Potholes, lowspots, cracks all led to hopscotch to get into your car without soaking your shoes. Rooms were stale, lack of good air circulation.

There was no hot water for shower and no compensation for the inconvenience

Hotel was ok lobby was nice but room was average

It was fine for what it was. Covid makes things difficult at this time. I wish the Starbucks would’ve been open

The staff that greeted us the night we arrrived was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

The person checking us in wasn’t very friendly and on top of that he was chewing gum which to me was very unprofessional. The property itself looks like good from the outside looking in meaning the outside is nice and the lobby looks awesome but the room wasn’t the greatest. There was hair in the bathtub when we got there. The floor wasn’t vacuumed all over so there were spots where crumbs were. The walls are also paper thin so you hear everything!!!!! The pool was a joke, it looks like it would be very nice based on the picture but it was complete opposite. There were leaves all over which I assume came from the outside section. It also seemed like the area in the pool leading to outside was open because the water was freezing and of course the leaves. I also think it’s insane to charge $6 a day to park and then not even provide a free breakfast. And on top of all that the night we stayed we got room service because we were exhausted from traveling and the food was awful! Awful and overpriced!

They put me in a handicap room and the shower was so low I had to bend over to take a shower. I will not stay there again.

It was all good. Easy access. Good parking. Close to airport

Nighttime and morning staff was fabulous and very helpful. But facility seems to be hit or miss by room. Original room on 8th floor didn’t have water hot enough for a comfortable shower at 10pm, let alone take a bath with such horrible water pressure Engineer agreed after visiting room and measuring temp. Suggested a lower floor might help as the lower the floor, the less distance the water has to travel from the boilers. So, next night was spent on the 2nd floor. Water temp was better, but still not hot enough to need to turn it down from being all the way in the hottest position. But this time, bathtub was filthy and drain slimy. Not exactly what you want to soak in. And evidence of mold in shower ceiling doesn’t make for an appealing sight. Rooms have obviously had cosmetic updates, but worn bathroom doors splitting from moisture, and original tub basins, along with unvented bathrooms make this property feel dated and tired.

The staff was very nice. The room wasn't ready but they gave us vouchers for free breakfast.

The rooms are fine, but walls are paper thin so you can hear every conversation and noise from the rooms around you and the hallway. The pillows are all really soft and don't offer support until you stack 2-3, it's be nice to have a mix of soft and firm. The facilities don't look like they've been upgraded since the 80s... There are rocks at the front entrance that are sputtering and wasting water..I can't imagine these were ever useful or aesthetically pleasing. On top of the over priced nightly rate they also charge you $6/day to park. Have you ever heard of a hotel that doesn't allow outside food or drink? Well, now you have. Even after their buffet grade food of a restaurant was closed, we were told we couldn't eat outside food in the lobby area where all the seating was.

I didn’t like having to pay as I checked in. Also, i can’t remember ever being charged a fee for parking in the hotel parking lot.
