Beautiful DT Old School Hotel Classic Love it
Exceptional stay! Parking lot was adjacent to the building & was accessible 24/7 with room key. No garage! So easy to get in and out. Keurig & K-cups in the room was sooo nice for a nighttime & morning hot tea. Loved this hotel - especially being walking distance from the Plaza & so many restaurants.
Not the view I expected. I booked a plaza view king suite. The room was in the main floor looking at the entrance. Fully exposed to everybody sitting outside or waiting for their car. Other than that it was good.
Great place. Would recommend.

Staff and consiger (spelling) were excellent!!! Especially Yuki. He went above and beyond making my. And my now fiances stay a memory we will never forget, nor want to.

When you think of a quality hotel, you think about excellent delivery of service. The Raphael has amazing service across the board. I had booked our 3 night stay & then called to confirm & mention it was a celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary. Upon arrival, we were so pleasantly surprised to find an upgraded lovely King suite & a complimentary bottle of wine with a thoughtful note congratulating our 20 years. This is classy - they took note & followed through. The service at the front desk, valet with free parking, amazing free coffee in the tasteful lobby & lovely patio out front with gas fireplaces on cool mornings.... need I say more? The rooms are impeccable, toiletries of highest quality, amazing housekeeping services. We loved the Plaza location overlooking the riverwalk, used the B-Cycles across the street, did some shopping on the Plaza. Kansas City has a real gem in the Raphael - and a few music celebrities have also noticed the classy touch (as noted in sighting some tour buses of musicians parked curbside as we left for our U2/Beck concert at Arrowhead Stadium). We will be back!
Bath was very small, concierge just existed, wasn't all that friendly.
Ask for something it was done immediately. Location overlooking the Plaza us second to none.
