This is our second stay in a year at this property. It's a great location for us to explore the city at which we're comfortable and feel safe. There are some concerns about overall cleanliness. Regardless of C19 limitations, our 3rd floor hallway wasn't vacuumed for our 3 day stay. As the weekend went on, it only got worse. The lobby and common areas on the ground floor, as well as the pool area, seemed well-maintained and the hot breakfast was a welcome return to the pre-C19 era. Our room was in generally good shape, though both suites in the past 12 mos are starting to show some wear. In spite of this, I'd recommend and will stay again.

Very comfortable, affordable luxury, close to downtown Kansas City which has a lot of fun things to do from dusk to dawn.

We loved our stay at the Residence Inn in downtown KC. The views of Kauffman Center and downtown are awesome. The breakfast was actually really great (yes, they use real eggs!). The staff was friendly as well. We only had one issue where the thermostat in our room quit working, but the staff moved us to a different room pretty quickly. Kitchens in the rooms are stocked with everything you would need to do your own food prep as well. We live in the area, but didn't want to drive late on New Years so that is why we stayed here so we likely won't frequent, but we will definitely use this hotel when our business partners come in town. Finally a reasonably cost, nice, hotel in downtown KC!

This hotel had a great location very close to Power and Light District. Free street car if you don't want to walk right outside the hotel. Street car to Union Station and World War 1 museum. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Staff was amazing. Friendly and accommodating.
