I was there to visit family and the location was great. We had beautiful weather so we walked every where.

Beautiful, historic hotel located right next to the power & light district. Lots to do and see within walking distance.

We had a wonderful time in KC and the location of the hotel was perfect for what we wanted!

Really nice room and great location. Value for the money is a bit lacking, but really no complaints

Our stay was great. Couldn't ask for a better location in the downtown area. Will definitely stay again if I return to the area.

very nice restoration of an historic hotel. this is in a great location, and the price is quite reasonable. wouldn't call this a luxury hotel, as there aren't any robes in the rooms for example, and no refrig, and limited (but very high quality) toiletries, ,,, however, this really did feel like a boutique hotel, overall. we would definitely stay here again.

We booked this trip for a Gala at the Convention Center. We didn't worry about the walk, parking or having a few drinks.

Staff was pleasant, nice old hotel. Big problem was the bed linens were odorous and did not appear clean. Strong musty smells. There was an old water leak stain on ceiling and wall.

They charge $18 for parking, never tell you that until you are checking out. The room was warm and we were unable to lower the thermostat. No fridge in room, but we took our leftovers from dinner to the front desk and they kept it in the hotel fridge until check out, that was nice. They room was nice I just don't understand the $200+ per night we were charged. Wasn't "all that". I'd recommend but with warnings.

Decent hotel in a good location. Stayed in a suite as they were overbooked. Overall staff was friendly.

We loved the location of the Hilton President and general amenities were good. We would stay here again. Especially loved being just a few blocks from restaurants, pubs, and music venues in the Power & Light District. Also walking distance to the arts district; easy access to the highway for driving anywhere in town. It's an older hotel, very ornately decorated. Staff were nice; the Drum Room downstairs is great for drinks; room was somewhat small but the bathroom was spacious. We never heard any noise from hallway or other rooms which was nice. Note that self park is $18 per day and valet is $20 per day (plus tips). There was no refrigerator in the room which made it difficult to keep leftovers and drinks during our extended stay. Also the A/C unit seemed a little inefficient. Really the only issue was the service at the breakfast buffet Saturday morning in the Walnut Room. Quite dismal and food was mediocre. Would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be walking distance to everything downtown near Power & Light. Skip the breakfast.

Perfectly fine old hotel in the downtown area. KC super clean and lots of restaurants.

This hotel has old beautiful charm! Love it here. Location is perfect for walking around the Power and Lights District. Will always choose this hotel for my downtown KC travel!

Great experience. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Offered suggestions on eating establishemtns and nightlife. A little pricey but for special occassion and location was worth the extra.

really enjoyed the hotel. the staff was great, from the valet to the front desk. Even when there was a missed wake up call, the front desk comped us our breakfast . The only thing that could use some improvement is the staff in the breakfast room. They are friendly and all but i often had to ask for more coffee, and water and even our bill. walk to shopping, food, drink and the sprint center! We would still stay there at our next visit to KC

pleasant stay in a charming old hotel. quiet, very comfortable bed, helpful and friendly staff

I stayed here on a cross country drive from Baltimore to Denver. The hotel and amenities were very nice and the staff was professional and courteous. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. I'd definitely recommend, and I plan to stay here on weekend trips from Denver.

Excellent location if looking to have a good time around the Power & Light District or Sprint Center. Plenty of amazing places to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner that accommodate all price levels. Hotel was extremely clean and comfortable along with friendly staff. Prepare yourself to find parking near by, the hotel only offered one spot per room and offsite parking ranges around $20/day.

Hilton President Kansas City is a perfect place to relax and enjoy yourself. The restaurant had live entertainment which was excellent! The Power and Light district was right around the corner. The staff was very helpful and pleasant...can't wait to go back there again!!!

This hotel is in a great location in a very cool city. We got randomly placed in a handicapped room, so admittedly had more room than our friends down the hall but everything was clean. My only very minor complaint was that they didn't have anyone on staff to shine a pair of shoes which surprised me.
