The location was fantastic. We only stayed for one night and luckily we both showered before arriving because the shower/bathtub was really dirty with hair and specks of a brown substance around it. I didn’t inspect further 😳 I did however love that we were provided a robe. I mean, it was just 1 robe in a room set up to accommodate 4 people, but whatever… for whatever reason all of the drawers, cabinets were wide open and the refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived??? We didn’t realize the fridge was unplugged until we wanted to grab a cold beverage and realized they were warm. The beds were comfy but the duvet had a large yellow stain on it. Right on top for everyone to see. It was so obvious that it was the first thing I saw when I looked at the bed. I’m not sure how housekeeping missed it. I would have liked if the balcony doors had a functioning lock. I felt a little uncomfortable with the doors being unlocked all night. We did not take advantage of the on-site restaurant/bar so I cannot tell you about the food. The check in process was pretty slow. And the “lobby” is very small. Only 2 desks kind of tucked into what looks like used to be a closet. We were in line for check in for about 10 minutes with several people in line behind us until the front desk manager came to check us in. I paid before hand through Orbitz for parking but was never asked about it once I arrived. The arms to the parking garage were up 24/7 so I’m not sure why I had to pay for parking??
Bailey is the BEST and the the other staff went above and beyond to make your stay fantastic. Breakfast was so good & Lobby bar is very nice too. Perfect location. The only disappointment was the Club room. Terrible food(really nothing offered) and no drink mixers.
We have made reservation for my family to stay at this hotel and explore the Kansas City but this hotel totally ruined it.I came into hotel for check-in with infant and toddler they said my room is not ready even after regular checkin time. They said that they will call me on my bole in 30 minutes but they never called me.I waited for more than 3 hours to say they are cancellation reservation at 8:30PM.It created horrible mess and ruined the trip. They did not even provide any alternative accommodation or did not feel they are even feeling any sorry or taking responsibility. Completely rude behavior. Never book with them. Its complete waste of money and time
My expectations did not meet reality. For what I paid for two nights stay, I expected that the hotel property and room would add in a positive way to our special weekend away. Instead, we arrived with no clear signage or direction on how to check in. The parking garage situation felt sketchy, but the lobby seemed to give me hope that maybe I chose a good spot. We checked into our room and for a premium room it was small, dirty carpet, and the renovation looked as though someone slapped lipstick on a pig. More importantly, the AC was set at 60 and the temp in the room never cooled lower than high 70’s. Our refrigerator did not work. I have insulin that must remain cool, so we immediately contacted the front desk for help. We left to get dinner with the expectation that the AC and fridge would be fixed when we returned. That was not the case. After three more calls to the front desk, we finally got a replacement fridge, but the AC was never addressed. Overall, we left feeling overcharged and dissatisfied. If you are planning a special stay, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This property is just ok.
Hard to give an overall rating here, because this hotel, like so many others, has the fake thermostats and complete lack of temperature control in the room. The room was too hot for me to sleep, so I was forced to keep the deck door open all night. On the other hand, the staff was phenomenal in helping us out with a minor crisis where we needed to get some medical records sent to us on a Sunday. I can't say enough good things about the Concierge service.

Maybe back in the day this was a four star hotel. It is in some serious need of remodel. Pealing wallpaper and paint. Stains on carpets and furniture. Does not add up to $407 a night standards. The phots on there website a defiantly from their hay day. For a interconnental I was deeply disappointed.
Tried to check in at 4:30. Was told it would be a “few more hours”. Front deck person needs training on how to handle these situations. Unprofessional. Not even an “I’m sorry”. We had a wedding to attend and could not get ready in our room. Had to get dressed stat wedding venue.

We appreciate the feedback. Our thermostats do control the room temperature, but on occasion the valve that controls the flow of hot or cold water (Heat or AC) gets stuck or needs replaced.
