Location is closed to the plaza which is nice. But the rooms are runs down

Chris was terrific helping us out with a very late check in on Christmas Day.

We love staying at the intercontinental with a view of the Christmas lights on the country club plaza.

We stayed from Fri Till Mon. Never once was there a concierge at the concierge's desk. The people checking you in were rude. Out first room we were woke up every thirty min from a loud thump from furnace. So we switched rooms. Room was dark & very dimly lit. Tub did not drain in the next room. No water bottles in the room. No q-tips.

The was very friendly and helpful. The Intercontinental is conveniently located to shopping, dining and events of the plaza. The rooms were clean and up to date. We enjoyed the nightly live music. The Intercontinental added to a great weekend in KC.

The check in process was fine. I asked for slippers and they were out. I asked for our room to be cleaned on the second day and they didn't come until 6p. The next day they came at 7a while we were still sleeping. We asked for a different room because our room was next to a hospitality room that was very loud and they refused to give us another room.

A few issues: - The AC did not work. The fan worked but it did not actually cool the room. - Every faucet leaked in the bathroom, including the sink and the shower. - There was spilled coffee in the entryway that was not cleaned up during the three days I was there. The hotel is being renovated. Consider avoiding this hotel for a year or so until they get back up to speed.

Nice lounge off the main lobby with Jazz at night. Nice clean modern interiors. Staff very friendly. Restaurant food was very good but expen$ive compared to the local restaurants. Easter Brunch was $60 per person.

Great customer service. Positive and helpful staff. The only problem was that our bathroom wasn’t very clean.

Nice hotel, good staff, just a little noisy at times. Some plumbing noise and could hear the next room's guests a lot. It was new years so there was also a full hotel. Nice locality near the Plaza.

Very close to shopping, dining, and bars. Great night away.

Worst stay Ever!!! Housekeeping was cleaning my room at 8:30 pm and i wouldn’t call it cleaning all they did was make the bed. They didn’t even restock toilet paper- I had to call the front desk for it. They took my robe and did not replace it! Also I sent my laundry out and requested it back by a certain time- I had to go to the front desk for that as well😩 I was staying here with my teenage daughter and I went down stairs to watch some live jazz( which was the only good thing about this place) and my daughter came down to join me and proceeds to tell me the people in the room next to us were arguing. I thought well we will relax and enjoy the music and by the time we go back up it surely will have subsided. My daughter ordered a hot choc( disgusting) so then she ordered a Green tea and I ordered a cheese plate ( sloppily put together, very poorly presented) and we enjoyed the Jazz band for about a hour! We then went back up to the room and the fighting was still going on. I tried to call front desk and nobody picked up! So, I had to run down to the front desk to get security. Security came up and gave the people a warning! They stopped for about 20 mins then it started up again this time way worse... tussling and screaming and sounds of someone being restrained (all the while my 13 yr old is hearing this)!!! I tried to call for security again and no answer. Then the fight turned into the hallway where luggage was being thrown and ice and the females purse! At this po

Alcohol was way overpriced. Staff was nice and helpful if needed

great hotel, easy check in easy parking and walking distance to the plaza

formely a brautiful lobby, now st erile white exoribinant charges for persomal parking bathtub and shower difficult to manage. poor menu selection at restaurant

bedrooms were well appointed, but the bathrooms were dated. the shower head was new and much too powerful for the drain that backed up and we were in 3 inches of water each time we showered. they tried to fix it but could not.
