Is a good hotel, staff is open to help you, beds are confortable, private bathroom is clean, and hotel's location is great.

This place was a little rough around the edges... Outdated, questionably clean. But then, on the second night, my travel companion discover mouse feces in his "FRESH" towels. Needless to say we went elsewhere while we were in San Fran for work. I would NOT recommend this place unless it is a last resort.

The hotel staff are overly cautious for the area. The place is safe, the area is nice, and even after I checked out and my friends remained at the hotel, they treated me as if I'd never been there before. The only reason I left to stay at another hotel is because they did not have anything available for two people. In the end I'm glad we did not stay there because the room is too small for two people and I felt cramped as one person; however, the room was clean and quiet. The staff are just following rules but the rules are stiff and guests are not allowed; under no circumstances.

The bed felt like I was sleeping on a pile of bricks. The shared shower was dirty and gross. There was nowhere to put clean clothes or your towel. There was no way to get back into the hotel without first ringing the bell and having the front desk buzz you in. Unfortunately, due to Dreamforce, I had no choice but to stay there as other, safer hotels, were going for $1,000 per night.

I need a full refund. There was no fan in the heat. They had painters outside my window at 8am both mornings, talking and yelling. I was berated for taking the back staircase that had no signage not to do so.

The room was to small, also the area wasn't nice, to much noise. Even once we came and find out the maid left the door open in our room.

Other than a whopping $250 deposit that will take days to refund, this hotel is a bargain and actually kinda nice. Be sure to bring your own soap, add there's is microscopic. Also, the bathrooms are comically tiny for normal-sized humans.....so bring a bedpan or a catheter.

Room was in San Francisco, toilet in Jericho, bathroom in Hawaii, a size 8 person must align his/herself to fit into the toilet. Room was cold but no heat a night. The elevator will almost give you heart attack when it takes off. Staff guy on Wednesday morning was nice. My son not allowed to bring me food when the has not even the smallest cup of coffee or tea to offer. You should decide if this was not more than horrible experience.

Hotel was horrible worse customer service ever and the room was even worse nothing worked

After reading many of the bad reviews for this hotel, I was a little apprehensive about this hotel to say the least. However my partner and I found it to be more than adequate for our needs. We were staying in town for two nights and knowing we would be out and about most of the time and not needing to hangout in the hotel, we were happy to book. The staff were friendly and helpful. Yes you have to pay a deposit and yes the front door is a buzz in system where you have no personal access but given that the area of the City is a little seedy (not dangerous but many homeless hanging around), we were glad of the security measures. Room clean, had its own sink, microwave and fridge. Had a tv but didn't work. Shared shower room and toilet room, also clean. Hotel itself was clean but basic and old looking with an old style gate sliding elevator (kind of fun!) If you are expecting luxury, do not stay there. If you want a cheap, clean place to lay your head then it's fine. Not recommended for families given the neighbourhood.

we stayed for one night and the hotel it's safe. The main door is always locked.
