Absolutely terrible beds, like sleeping on a trampoline. It is impossible to share a bed . No room safe and if you want to check your computer/bag at the bellhop station the lines are literally put the front door, taking forever. Beautiful are of Pittsburgh with a wonderful view. Easy access to all downtown amenities.

View from upper floor was spectacular. Day of check-in was during the MS network outage which caused HUGE delays all day. Not the hotel's fault...but there seemed to be no plan how to manage several hundred people/groups checking in at once and utter chaos ensued. The lobby was jammed with people and luggage; parking at the valet was near impossible there were so many cars blocking the street it caused gridlock. The concierge staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the bar-tenders were great! The pool was way too small for a hotel that size.

Best staff

It took an hour to check in due to the system being down. They had to do it all by hand essentially. The management team and front desk were getting all forms of complaints but remained helpful and determined. They did a great job with what they were dealt with tech issues and even though some guests should be ashamed with how they acted, the staff did an incredible job. They even offered water and snacks while we waited. I truly felt sorry for what they went through but I'm definitely happy as always that I stayed here with such a great team!

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh - STAY AWAY!

Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh sold my pre-paid room out from under me. I paid for a Double Bed room and they sent me up to the 13th floor to a room with only a single bed. I called to inform them of this and they asked me to return to front desk which I did. I was informed that they are sold out and didnt have any rooms with two queen beds. I mentioned that this was unacceptable. After ten minutes of nonsense from the front desk crew they then miraculously found a room with a double bed. Total joke. On top of that this hotel and the rooms look like it needs an upgrade from the 1970's. Don't stay at Wyndham.
