This stay was shockingly below standard. Our first room in the Tower section was freezing (thermostat stuck at 69°F) and could not be adjusted. The room layout made no sense, the couch faced a wall and it didn’t feel clean. The shower only got hot when the sink was running, the ice machine pan was full of mold and the floor beneath was busted and cracked.
We were moved to another room, but it was handicap accessible (which we didn’t request and weren’t told about before the room was given), had a very low bed, rough scratchy sheets, no closet, and no safe for valuables. Walking the halls, we saw multiple rooms with towels stuffed under doors, unsettling for such a well-known brand. We paid a premium rate for two nights and left extremely disappointed. This experience did not reflect the comfort, cleanliness, or service Marriott is known for at all.
