Upon arrival, person at desk claimed our room wasn't ready. She then offered a 2nd room that was redy. she said she would take off parking cost. Never did she say it would cost more. In our room we noted two issues-a blinking light on phone and unusual clock with no face or at the time no buttons were noticed. Pushing the button it stated the room was not clean. So we called the front desk and they eventually fixed the phone message and would send someone to look at the clock. We left to go to a concert. That nigh at 3 AM the alarm went off-I found the buttons on the bottom as it was upside down. After I got home I saw an additional $26.00 charge on my bill. I see no reason to ever use you or them again.

Visiting Pitt for the first time, I couldn’t have found a better place to stay! The hotel staff were immediately attentive to my arrival and made sure that I had everything for my stay. Check-in took a matter of minutes! There is complimentary coffee/tea station at the enterence and a newly renovated seating area with comfortable chairs and granite counters. It was a perfect area for opening up your Mac and doing work, or eating the morning complimentary breakfast! The rooms were also newly renovated, everything from the pillows to the towels were so comfortable! The shuttle service from the hotel is how I was able to navigate my way through the city, and yet again, the shuttle service ran every hour and greeted you with Pitt hospitality! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your Pittsburgh stay, I know it will be my first choice on my next visit to the city!

Sink wouldn't drain, black mold on caulk in shower, finish worn off cabinetry, fan/AC was merciless (tuned it off room got stuffy fast), towel racks wobbly on wall, no channel guide for TV. bedding was all or nothing, heavy duvet or sheet, when combined with merciless AC/Heat fan, not good. View was great, room was quiet.

A/C too close to window. Feeling very hot when you have two beds.

We only stayed for an overnight visit. Hotel staff very friendly and professional. Room very very clean. Had absolutely no issues and would 100% recommend and stay here again.

Close to Pitt campus and located right off the expressway. Parking was provided. Clean with good amenities including a free breakfast and guest wifi.

Had a great stay at the hotel. They have made a lot of upgrades. Everything was perfect!

Unfortunately, we picked a wrong time to come here. The hotel was undergoing renovation, so at times it was pretty noisy on my floor. We were interrupted in our room so they could put up curtains. There was also a St. Patrick's Day parade going on and we had loud neighbors that night while we were trying to sleep--had to call security. The bathtub was also clogged so we had to get that taken care of. Perhaps things would have been a lot better if the renovation was complete and it wasn't a parade weekend. So I can't really give an objective opinion.

Overall the hotel stay was very nice and the room was spacious with a great view. The biggest drawback in our room was the shower did not get any hot water. We did not know untill one of us went for a shower the next morning. Normally, it would be ok, but in freezing cold weather.. so need a good hot shower...I didnt even bother to give the kids a bath. I did inform the staff that was the issue with our room, so hopefully they fixed it.

We stayed here because my son was senior and we planned a camps tour to University of Pittsburgh.Actually,we had good experience when we stayed here.Clean room, hot breakfast, good staffs.

I was very pleased with the pleasant welcome; the cleanliness of the room and the wonderful breakfast!

We stayed here to visit a granddaughter who is a student at Pitt. It is very close to campus. It is friendly, clean and we enjoyed our stay. We travel with a dog and it is pet friendly....however, the areas for dogs to relieve themselves are very limited. That didn't disturb our stay and the dog survived. I love staying there and this was a repeat visit.

Visited our daughter at college and needed a pet friendly hotel, this was a very good place to meet our needs.

Needed to visit the Pitt campus and stayed her for one night. I cannot say if I could have found a better value for the location, comfort and Value that I received.

The room was very clean, staff very friendly... I would recommend to anyone.

staff very friendly and helpful. They shuttle really assisted with hospital dining but also hospital commutes.

I had to leave early, but I do like the fact that transportation is available without calling a cab. Breakfast was sufficient

Everything was great. If you are going out to a Steelers or Pirates game this is the place to stay. They offer a free shuttle almost anywhere you need to go and will also pick you up. The free morning breakfast is unreal. Rooms were nice and clean. The staff is the best around. Book with confidence.

Not good. Greeted poorly then told of parking fee. Bathroom was filthy. Still had hairs stuck to tub and on the floor.

VERY SHORT BUT NICE. WE STAYED 1 NIGHT AND WERE VERY SATISFIED.
