Very impressed with front desk staff. Welcoming and helpful. Parking was very convenient and rooms were very clean. Very unique place to stay and would definitely stay again next time in Pittsburgh.
Mike was very friendly at check in, I had to ship boxes in advance for work & he was expecting me & helped carry them to the room. The room Was very nice & comfortable. I wish I had more time to stay!
There are exciting museums within walking distance.
I arrived and looked around the area and wasn't comfortable leaving my car unattended...decided to stay at a different hotel
Lovely location, easy to walk to the Andy Warhol museum and other great Pittsburgh features. Great character and wonderful, helpful staff.
Staff at desk are awesome…great shuttle service and boutique hotel
Had a great stay. Grew up in Pittsburgh and this was my first time here. Had a wonderful check in process, breakfast bag, drink at Monks bar, and the shuttle and driver was superb. I would absolutely stay here again over the chains. Very tiny bathrooms but perfect for two people.
There is a fine line between "historic" and just plain old. A former monastery, the architecture is amazing. Otherwise, the carpeting looks old and stained. The rooms are small. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. The continental breakfast that was to be delivered to the room never arrived. Convenient location in North Pittsburgh with free parking. No restaurant at this hotel, but several a few blocks away. Free parking.
Not sure how everyone rated this as top , but the carpet was smelly and the amenities are poor and the Front desk lady was rude.
Great architecture. Staff very polite and helpful with a vast knowledge of the history of the area.
Very welcoming staff with good knowledge of the city. Room waa quite comfortable. Well located for our needs. I'd stay again for our next visit.
The hotel was easily accessed from the Benedum Center. Parking was nearby, and the hotel staff, including front desk, shuttle driver, bartender, wait and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time, and look forward to staying at the Priory on our next visit to Pittsburgh.
Staff was very friendly and the hotel was lovely.
Neighborhood looks a bit sketchy when you drive in, but we walked back at 11pm after a baseball game with no problem at all.
Loved the Monks Bar and our fabulous bartender, Nikki. Hotel was very convenient for walking to fun places. Beautiful hotel and great breakfast! Loved it!!
