Clean and fun location but somethings done without consideration for guests. There was a 2 space curbside area for your car - one moron (KY plates) took up both by parking in the middle of the 2 spaces forcing me to double park. The garage is very tight for anyone with a car much less a SUV. We found the one space with room but expect post scrapes or being hit by your neighbors. Not really sure what idiot thought this up. And, …. They charge $20 for this parking foul up, Also, if the hotel was full, there a not enough spaces. In your room, half your lights work normally while half need your room key to operate. Eco moron attempt at sustainability—- monster fail for customer satisfaction. Overall, nice hotel and safe location with the trade off of major stupid design flaws. No car, no problem.
Clean, room conditions and comfortable bed, large bathroom with great shower. Next to river walk.
Great location. Nice staff. Parking very efficient. A tad noisy and beds kinda stiff.
awesome place to stay. Great hotel and location. Close to lots of place to eat. The free shuttle service was amazing
Very nice hotel and new. Great view of the river from our room. The parking seems steep to have to pay $18 every night. Walking distance to some shops and restaurants.
Love this hotel. I stay here every time I go to Pittsburgh. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. Love the breakfast. Hotel transportation is excellent.
Close to AEO and restaurants. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is ho hum.
The room was updated and clean and we were comfortable. The design of the room was terrible. The living room and kitchen were open to the bedroom so my husband couldn't watch tv in the living room while I went to sleep in the bedroom. The closet was in the bathroom resulting in soggy clothes from the steam of the shower! Also, the bathroom had double doors that were hard to push open and therefore made a banging sound. This was not good in the middle of the night. The desk personnel were perfunctory and curt. They never said the words "please," "thank you," or "sorry." "Sorry" would have been the word to use when 1) no one was at the desk when we came by between 9 and 10 Sat. morning. Finally, someone went into the office for us and a woman emerged chatting on a phone. No apology was offered for not being at the desk. Our room cards weren't working and they couldn't be fixed because the machine was not working. No apology for this either.
The entry is odd- you enter and then walk a flight of stairs - or take an elevator to the lobby. A different elevator takes you to the rooms. When you leave you have to take 2 elevators to get out. All parking is valet parking- that comes with a fee. The parking situation just seems odd, as I am not accustomed to paying an additional fee to park, and waiting for someone to bring me my car. The room was very comfortable, and had a kitchen- overall a good experience.
Hotel was nice, very friendly staff, other guest were out of control (loud) party for 3hrs they woke me up!
Convenient location and attractive, updated rooms with nice amenities, but some staff were inconsiderate and not very efficient in responding to our requests. Person at desk during check-in was quite rude. We booked a room for 5 and found only 2 towels and it took 30 mins to get more and 45 mins to get an extra blanket at bedtime.
Came to Pittsburgh for a last minute get away over Spring Break. Hotel is located in South Side along the River within walking distance to restaurants, etc. Great for families. The complimentary breakfast was very good, especially the personalized omelets made by a very friendly chef who managed a busy Saturday morning with ease. Our suite was spacious and perfect for a family of 4.
Clean, nice stay for family. Provided home away from home. Nothing more to add.
