This was a terrible experience. The mattress was terrible with actual deep holes in it. The black-out curtains in this corner suite (408) did not overlap so they did not black anything out. They also had many hole sin them. The decorative curtains were ripped and torn. TV did't work, got a new controller, that did not work. The hotel was very old outdated and dirty in general. The restaurant had a tiny amount of seats for the closest hotel to 2 major league sports teams. Bar staff had no idea what beers they even sold. Two staff on for a full house. Hospitality in this hotel is non-existent. GM needs to go this is not the first bad review. What a waste of time for the guests as well as for the people trying to do a good job. GO anywhere else!

The property is superb with large, clean rooms. Check in was quick. Their restaurant was excellent. Downside is parking, which is only available at the city self park garage across the street. Also, no pool. Price was reasonable given the proximity to PNC park and downtown.

We loved the location of the Renaissance. It's perfect for anyone going to PNC field. The staff was outstanding. We did experience a vibration in our HVAC duct during the night. The restaurant was excellent. We'd go back without hesitation.

Hotel had everything we needed; Bed was super comfy. We were in town for Baseball and Football. Both stadiums are within short walking distance. Conveniently located only a block away from the express bus that you can take to and from the airport. only negative was that the bathroom could use an update, tub was slow to drain, taps on the sink and tub needed adjusting and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall. That being said would 100% stay again!!

I stayed here for 4 nights with high expectations with the price tag. I even paid a premium to upgrade rooms for a river view, but the shower in this room would randomly turn scorching hot and burn us. Eventually we changed rooms, but not after the engineer told us we “need to turn it to cold not hot” like we didn’t know how to use a shower. The room upgrade charge was not waived even though we didn’t stay one night in it. If you want a good nights sleep do not put your comforter up to the light, SO DIRTY. If you’re there for the sports teams the location is fanatic, other wise avoid this place at all costs.
